Am I the only noob that was greatly disappointed by the tobacco flavors?

There are good ones out there, if you can adjust your expectation of what a "tobacco" vape should taste like. I've found a couple that I like (one of them honestly sometimes kinda tastes like an ashtray but for some reason I like it).

If you go a while without an analog then have one you'd probably find that it tastes much nastier than you remember (in no way am I suggesting you actually have an analog, consider it a "thought experiment").

When I first ordered everything, I primarily bought tobacco flavored juice. I was hoping to duplicate the perfect tobacco taste (camel) but wasn't impressed. The first few didn't really taste like much, let alone tobacco. Then I tried berry and grape... LOVE them!

Then I tried a 555... I wanted to puke.

Honestly I'm done with the tobacco flavors, and I don't feel the least bit disappointed.

Anyone else the same way?

I actually enjoyed some tobacco flavors at first. After a while, I didn't want them at all. Coffee and Cream from Mountain Oak Vapors is my all day vape now.

Personally, i never smoked cigs for the flavor. I used to smoke marlboro lights for the nic & never was a cigar smoker. When I started vaping I bought Grumpy's Hooch from S&S Mods on the advice of folks here on the ECF, it wasn't until I had some quality atomizers & mods that I was able to enjoy the tobacco (not cig) flavor of the juice itself. I'm vaping it as I type & all i can say is it is one of my favorite vapes. I can't recommend it enough, Chopper (the juice maker) is a solid guy & his customer service is great.

After 40 years at 3 pad, like many, I'm about to give up on tobacco flavors. I've tried 5 vendors and 50+ different juices without any luck. I suppose I'm also in the minority in that I like tobacco...lit up a couple of cigarettes as a test after 3 months and damn they were good. At the moment, Classic Grape from SI, Sweet Swish from HHV, Georgia Peach Tobacco from HHV...these are keeping me going...but oh how I long for a good cigar.

I've been disappointed with the tobacco flavors, but RY4 seems to be one of the best bets from the reviews. I haven't personally tired anyone's RY4. Some say DeKang RY4 is pretty good. I found that the tobacco juices I have tried, needs to be steeped, or "aged" for 2 or 3 weeks for the flavor to change and get rid of the chemical taste.

I now go with fruit flavored juices, and prefer the taste much more.

I think making a good tasting tobacco is really hard because tobacco tastes bad. Starting out I wanted vaping to taste like smoking, I quickly got over it when I discovered vaping could be much much better tasting than burning leaves.

That said, there are some tobacco like flavors I do like and use, but they don't taste like cigarettes.

I've done fruit and sweets vapes from the start but I did try Poison from RAWR and hated it. But last week I got two tobacco flavors that I had to try, Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice from Alien Visions. Lawd have mercy these are as good as the reviews. As highly rated and as much as he sells of Boba's I think everyone should at least try it Gorilla Juice is Boba's with a bit of banana. .

As previously stated, no vape is going to replicate the taste of an analog. Try vaping for a month and then ask someone for a drag of their cigarette. After that tell me if you want a vape that tastes like an analog. I highly doubt it. The closest you will find is Vapes that are reminiscent of a pipe tobacco or a cigar. Halo is a good suggestion. Also their are a few vendors that do naturally extracted tobaccos (NET) and those are great. Heathers Heavenly Vapes and Ahlusions. Try those and think pipe tobacco not analog. And don't forget to steep. E juice is like wine, it gets better with age.
