NET.com IS back, with a promise of 72 hour turn-around.

GOLD is a great Virginia blend and highly recommended.

Thanks for the tip -- had a hard time finding it, since it's actually "naturally-extracted-tobacco.com" rather than net.com, but I finally located it, and bookmarked that "Gold" -- kinda weird that it's pipe tobacco, but I love both Oak Barrel Cider and Long Bottom Leaf pipe sauce, so I guess it's at least worth trying.

When I still lived at home, I'd be in my room smoking my Virginia Slims, and when my mom would poke her head in, she'd get this appalled look on her face and go "WHAT are you smoking in here, cigars???" :D So I guess maybe Slims use a slightly different kind of tobacco than other cigarettes; I know that once I became habituated to the Slims, NO other cigarettes tasted good to me AT ALL, and most of the tobacco eliquids I've tried have tasted hideous to me.

You working on a Virginia/Virginia Flake single-v? I was talking with someone about NET's & they're looking for one. MOV apparently pulled theirs & replaced it with a V-Flake RY4 & I recommend against NETcom for anything these days.

Yes, I am doing a Virgina Flake, I will probably not be messing with flavored variants of it. I find that Virginia is almost too sweet to begin with and does not stand up to flavoring well as it becomes sickly sweet to me. For me to work with something I have to enjoy it and I do not enjoy flavored Virginias.

I have some Amercian style pipe blends coming out this weekend as well as a Burley Kake and another Cigar, more of a highend American.

The un-mentioned island Cigars should be ready in 2 weeks or sooner.

I love tobacco flavors, but lots of them are sweeter than I think they should be. I've been playing with making my own using nice dark pipe tobacco or cigars. My attempts with cigarette tobacco were way too light and mild, IMO. I like tobacco flavors that focus on the more bitter wood and spice notes, and less on the floral and caramel/graham cracker ones.

Congrats on being smoke free for two years! :p

But I will have to say I think that the reason the FDA is looking into e-cigs and the juice is because those delicious, sweet fun flavors are the reason why many people try vaping. I know many who have tried e-cigs and love them and they have never smoked a real cigarette a day in their life.
I think for the younger crowds it is less about replacing an actual cigarette (where they havent developed years of attachment and flavor memories) and more of a sweet calorie free adult toy that they can indulge in without the repercussions of an actual cigarette

And what's wrong with that, I'd love to know, since there is ZERO demonstrated harm from e-cigs?

I do enjoy a few sweet flavors from time to time but the majority of what I vape are bacco juices. I start every day with my DIY Desert Ship and then move on to other flavors later in the day. DIY Highway with a touch of DIY peach is always in one of my Reos, Boba's is in the other. Always have a tank full of Havana Gold on one of my box mods.

You're not alone!

You do realize you can buy a sample bottle of Bitter Wizard and it would help to tone down the sweetness in the baccys you taste that are too sweet?:)

I smoked the major label "Reds", "Lights", and sometimes the "Greens", so I wanted something close. What I found based on one review from someone who Smoked "Reds", was this. Durasmoke Blue label TrueBeca Tobacco 1.8% Nic. I think the comparison is uncanny. Starts out like a "Red" with a "Light" finish to it. If there is anything closer out there I'd be willing to try it but I think this is where I'm going to stay.
