I have done with single and single parallel wires. I find it heats more evenly to make BOTH coils from the same wire/wires. Am I the only person who does this?
Am I the only one who does dual coils with a single wire?

Nope. It is more commonly refered to as a sleeper coil (no idea why, or even why it needed a name to begin with.....) but its been around for a while and there are plenty of youtube videos with people building this way.
ok I was just curious. I've posted a few of my builds on FB and people always seem suprised when I show them a dual coil single wire build.
nope. I do it also! I use a very thick wire called mundy's magic and two pieces of this wire will not fit into the holes in the posts. So I take a 3 inch piece center it in the positive post then wrap each coil to the negatives. if anyone is curious about mundy's magic wire do a search here on ECF and youtube
