Having been around and vaping since it's infancy here in the US, I naturally started on a mechanical mode using cartos, and then progressing to cartomizers.
Although there were VV mods on the market, I stayed with my mechs., as I knew full well being in the IT field how fast things change in the electronics industries.
I only switched over to a Provari about two years ago as I had made the decision that if I do switch it was going to be for the best VV on the market at the time with the best track record for durability in all facets of design and operation as well as a proven track record.
I now own 4 Provari 2.5' use clearo tanks and have been pretty satisfied up until recently.
Like a lot of people I wanted something more from my vaping experience, but the fact was, and it still is that there are only so many quality VV / VW mods out there!
I finally sprung for a ZNA lite, as I will not buy Asian electronic mods; they just do not hold up over time, and you end up tossing them..IMHO,,,
Still using clearo tanks and quite honestly I have been very satisfied, of course progressing on my atomizers to achieve the desired vape quality and run time (tanks) that I had been looking for.
Well I had seen Reo' for as long as they had been on the scene, and being a mech I wasn't too anxious to run out and spend "that kind of money" on a mech, as there are no electronics, and no reason for something to cost that much that is going to require I use disposable attys and it only has a 6 ml tank (bottle) as I am a chain vaper to this day. .
Okay I won't lie, with the advancements in RBT, RDA technology and getting burnt out on replacing clearo heads several times a week, not to mention tank seals, etc., etc., when a Reo came along in the classys and changed me forever in my opinions toward VV/VW moding.
I bought the Reo that came with a Cyclone RDA and AFC, when I got it and I saw the atty, I though to myself "what the heck was I thinking", "well I can always flip it if I decide I made a mistake"
The Reo sat for quite a while as building a RDA the size of a Cyclone is almost like micro surgery! It only has about a 15mm deck! And I surely was not about to revert to the cartomizers (be some are really great now).
Long story short I watched a couple of YouTube videos on Cyclone builds, and I got VERY lucky! I mimicked a build I had seen and it has proven to be my ADV mod and atty!
I have a 6ml juice tank, a very efficient atty I do not have to replace clearo heads in or re-wick as I use Ready X Wick which is indestructible, no voltage or wattage setting to mess with!
Push the button it vapes, like a beast! All I have to do is change the battery and keep the juice full; I think this is where the love affair come from,
the simplicity and dependability and of course ease of operation!
No voltages or wattages to fiddle with..no cartos to replace; the 1.7 ohm Kanthal ribbon 3 x 2mm wicks require no maintenace, and it works perfectly paired with a Efest 35a 18650....simply magic...
the key here is simple!
