Just saying because I regularly drip 12mg of nic on my stillare v2 I used to drip 18mg but changed to 12mg because everyone says its not good to drip so high nic. Now I tried dripping 6mg but it just wasn't satisfying for my taste. What is the big fuss of people dripping high nic blends?
dripping atomizes the juice more efficiently, therefore you get more nicotine per hit. At least that's how I understand it. If you can take it and it keeps you satisfied, I say go for it.

If 6 satisfys some fine but not everyone is the same some can go lower some need higher as with everything only listen to your satisfaction as that's all that counts. I'm new to sub ohm and only at .7 but have noticed that my 18 is hitting harder then it was on old setup but long as you dont end up with a constant nic buzz indicating too much go by how it is for you ;).

Yep, you're weird. Everyone knows you should.........

Seriously, whatever works for you is cool beans. The move to lower nic is generally reported by people who felt adverse effects (throat/lung irritation, dizziness, etc.) from dripping at higher levels. If you get an enjoyable vape in a dripper at 12 or 18 mg, fill your boots.

I've talked to people who drip 24 mg very enjoyably. Also note that things like PG/VG ratios, inhale styles, and flavourings play a part in the "acceptability" of the vape, not just nic.

A dripper is just another atty. It is no more or less magical than any other atty. It all depends on your build and preferences. The reason some drop nic levels when they drip is because some set up their drippers to produce lots more vapor than other setups. More vapor at the same nic level is obviously more nic inhaled.

The slight traces of snark found in this post is not aimed at the OP or anyone in particular. It's a valid question :)

What they're really talking about is high power vaping, not merely dripping.

If you vape 18mg at 5 watts with a 32 gauge single coil, you're going to find with a 28 gauge dual coil at 30 watts(6 times more power), you're going to want to drop down to 3mg(6 times less).

As long as you're not getting nic sick you should be all good at 12mg, 18mg, or 24mg. I used to drip 24mg but it started getting too harsh on my throat so I backed it down to 6mg which is perfect because it allows me to chain vape without feeling nic sick. No you're not weird for dripping that high. Vape what works for YOU.

Good Lord! Didn't anyone ever tell you that dripping e-juice higher than 6mg is the primary cause of Global Warming?

That is the same thing I heard. I am satisfied with 3mg. But hey...whatever floats your boat.

The only thing you should care about is what works for you. Never rely on the herd that is better known as sheeple,

Sheeple?
Come on, this is the weakest statement I've read in days. Use a little logic.
It is Called ADVICE and given in response to a question.
Reducing Nic in a dripper is NOT a requirement. It is simply advisable. RDA's (BUILT CORRECTLY) deliver much more Nicotine than most other devices. Therefor you are still getting the Same Satisfying intake even though you are vaping at a lower level.
For some, Reducing Nic seems unnecessary.
For others it IS an absolute requirement.

I only weigh 123 - it would be very for me to Nic O.D. with my RDA builds.

So yes, some can Vape 18-24mg or more if daring, but some are happy using an RDA with 1-6mg.

Sheeple, my south end of a north bound Mule.:D

I met a guy who dripped 36 mg. I thought he was crazy, but it worked for him, so theres that.

Our fellow ECFer Beckdg vapes 50mg at around 80 watts, and he's still alive and kicking. In fact, he's feistier than ever!

I've been dripping anywhere from 20mg to 12mg lately, no harm no foul. Not super high wattage or anything, 15-20 watts.
