I just got a copper Manhattan last night and all I can say is "It doesn't just live up to all the hype, it exceeds it". As a machinist, I have to say that this mod is extremely well made. Not only are the threads smooth, they are tight, no play at all. They held very tight tolerances during the manufacturing. Then there is the outstanding design. For example, inner collar of the 510 is .010" higher than the rest of the top cap to keep the atty off the deck. Keeps things nice and cool. Also, show me any mechanical mod switch that has been tested to work at 50 amps without getting hot. There are none, except for the Manhattan. I really didn't agree with their response to Todd's review but I am very glad I gave the mod a chance. It is simply a much better device than any other mod I own. That list includes, gold V3 Flip, stainless V3 Flip, Emit Vapor gun metal Grenade, and copper Anarchist. If you are considering the purchase of a Manhattan, I would say "Just buy it, you won't regret it". If you don't like it, I'll buy it from you.

If you find one you better get it the second you see it, this mod has been discontinued and AV sent out there last run last month or this month.

Mellow Green checking in with some information on the manhattan and ameravape technologies. I created an account so I could reply here actually, as I've mainly been a lurker so far. I'm in no way part of the company, but I do have close connections in the Mecca of vaping, and where this company is based, Southern California.

Anyways, concerning the gold contacts wearing out:
Ameravape Technologies offers a lifetime warranty on your manhattan mod. And even more, the shops they sell to will have monthly maintenance contracts, where once a month you can go to the shop you bought your manhattan for maintenance, and if anything is out of place or wearing down, they will fix it for you, including those gold contacts.

Additionally, the Manhattan was in research and development for a year, and they have created a great product because of it. It is specifically designed to handle those extreme subohm builds like .06. It's designed to never get a hot spot or a hot button, and as long as you are using the correct battery, and knowledgeable about subohm building, you'll be fine in terms of a safety standpoint.

It's true they aren't in many shops currently. I believe they only just launched a month or so ago, and their initial run has been selling quickly.

Ameravape Technologies stated a lot of this information themselves actually. They were recently on a vape radio show, and gave a lot of good information on their product.

You can watch the stream at ustream.tv/channel/vape-room-radio

It's the most recent recording.
Lmao
Fail-so clearly work for amerivapes wtvr the company has already crashed and burned so this is a moot point now...

Dude, I have 2 of these mods and I can easily say they're the best mods I've ever had. They're "competition mods", and are hard to find. The one I'm currently using is the polished black with a patriot dripper with a custom black anodized cap. The other is a matte green one. I got it direct, but I haven't seen that color sold anywhere. When I asked someone more informed on the topic they told me that that specific model is a limited edition and very rare. I've owned and used a ton of mods (my previous favorite was the GMS with the solid silver pin) and this one blows it outta the water. Usually I refuse to get or use mods with plated pins, but when the plating wears off on your pin ameravape gives ya a new one for free for as long as you own the mod. I was at a release party for the mod and met the guys who make em, they're really good guys. Also I'm considering selling the limited edition matte green colored one if I don't decide to customize it and keep it as an art piece because I already have one. Contact me if interested. If not , I heavily suggest buying one online or at your local vape shop. For around 180 bucks it's the best mod for the money ... If not the best mod period.

What's the diameter? It's clearly not 22 mm from what I can tell

Just got the last one that I could find in southern california shops and in the desired brass finish at that! Must've just cashed in some karma but it was well worth the trade... Couldn't be happier with this. Everything about it is just superb.

Strange how all these overly enthusiastic and supportive posts on amerivape/the manhattan's behalf are all of profile's just made and otherwise clearly not participating in the vaping world since they all only have like 3 posts, 6 posts, 4 posts, etc
Normally I would not jump to such accusations/suspicions that could be classified in the category of conspiracy theory, but given all of the shadyness and unscrupulous/unethical practices that so publicly played out in the vaping world, I don't think this is too far fetched of a stunt for Amerivape to pull...
