Really, why, what did kryptonite do? I love me some vaping drama lol but seriously, I haven't heard anything about kryptonite...
You really have to see the video to fully understand. In short, Ecc was supposed to be a "no clones" event. How and when this was decided appears to be up for debate, and I don't have a vendor contract, so I don't know. So Kryptonite had some fill in the blank cease and desist orders from Legal Zoom or something, and rather than having an attorney or a server, they picked a couple of dudes from the crowd. One was wearing a "clones support terrorism" t-shirt. Much calamity ensued, with screaming, yelling, etc. when the vendor wadded up the "not even legal...or binding...or properly served" papers, the thugs were threatening felony jail time. My favorite part was when the vendor acted like he was going to throw the ball of paper, they started screaming about filing assault charges. Then as the goons were walking away they were actually yelling something like "Elitists rule."
I support original makers defending their products by whatever legal means are available. This was just foolish. I won't support a company that condones this type of behavior. I already owned an authentic 454, but if I hadn't, I would have rushed out to buy the clone.

I googled ECC and Kryptonite, and there is quite a bit of new stuff out there, including a lot of backpedaling from kryptonite and apologigizes from the guy who shot the video on kryptonites facebook. You know... If you REALLY want all the drama! lol It's actually worth it just to see his new "HEMO" t-shirt. (high end mods only.)
