Hello folks...I used to use Kayfun lite 2 for tanks, decided to give the Ammit a try on my Jac Vapour series 8 DNA 75W I used to average 2-3 mil's of juice a day or so...now I am blowing through 3.5 mils in my 8 hour shift...is this normal?

thanks
Are you using higher wattage and a bigger coil in the Ammit than you used in the KFL? My guess is the coil is probably much bigger at higher wattage.... using ore juice is just simple ligic.. bigger coil will vaporize more juice at any one time... just because it contains more juice..... then you add power level.. airflow also contributes but in a very minor way to juice consumption... it mostly comes down to the amount of juice in contact with the coil and how fast you heat it that determines consumption.

hmmm, well coil size is the same, 28 gauge kanthal wire, 10 wraps around a 1/8" drillbit. But wattage did go from 4 watt's to 10 watts. The Ammit definitely allows a lot more air in... I have it at its smallest opening sometimes between closed and first open click for a better stiff draw.

There you go.... Double the wattage roughly double the heat output... more heat means more juice gets vaporized faster. Added airflow also contributing...

Not applicable in this case but coil size can also affect consumtion..... bigger the coil the more juice that CAN be vaporized at one time. Also a bigger coil may not need to be as hot to vaporize more juice than a small coil.

Lots of confusing sciencecy stuff going on in there...... Steam-engine.org was my introduction to coil building a few years ago...... still use it for nearly every build I do today.

Any recommendations for a single coil rebuild-able, top fillable 22mm size to fit my JakDNA 75 with a stiffer draw to it with a more protected tank? I in less then a week broke one of the glass tanks..slipped from my hand outside at work. The Kayfun was nice acrylic not glass and enough stainless steel to protect it. 1.5-1.7 ohms is what I shoot for to build for a coil, and low wattage.

thanks
