An apology

Almost a year ago I was a fairly active member of this forum and ECF in general. I had several PIF packages that were suppose to go out but never made it. I had some personal issues that unfortunately forced me to step away for a while. Once I got everything settled I admit that I simply forgot about it all. No excuses, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for letting those down that I was suppose to send packages to.

I've sent a private message to each of them apologizing for the situation and asking how I can make things right. I just wanted to leave a quick note of apology to everyone else on PIF as well. Even though the situation in the beginning was out of my control, I should have attempted to make it right long before now.

I wasn't a member of ECF then, so I don't know/remember you. I'm glad that you found ECF again, & worked out your personal situations.

Anyways, I don't know what others think, but I think it's pretty cool that you just openly apologized & sent pms to those that were expecting stuff from you.

::is this sorta like your "home group" always accepting you back in AA?:: I'm not in AA per se, but I do work the 12 steps when dealing with food.

I'm really sorry I made you guys worry. And hopefully I can make it up to those that were upset with me. I can't say that I blame them; in their position I probably would have been a bit upset as well.

It takes courage to apologize like that and make amends. I was not here then, but am glad to be here now among people so giving and forgiving. Glad you are here again, I like people who have the courage to set wrongs right.
