I own a Greek Italian Restaurant .. (imagine that.. a greek in the restaurant buz)... anyway..
Tonight as the restaurant was filling i noticed some smoke coming from a table ... i walked over to that area and saw a guy vaping on a darwin... I walked up to him and said "Hey is that a darwin????".. The guy says " OMG how did you know what that was?????" I got so excited i told him hold on let me get my mod from my office.... i brought my Pro Vape from the office and we exchanged drip tips and vaped and talked about liquids etc...
It was awesome finding someone with a vaping interest and having a chat out of the blue.. i never expected that...
Thats all just a little story that made my night!

Very rare indeed! I have yet to see another vaper that is not part of my family. Even with a driving trip down to Florida, no one seen with a e-cig. Must have shocked you big time!

I haven't had that happen to me since I started vaping but the reason started is becayse I saw a guy vaping out on route at work and asked him about it. He told me that the switch was the best thing he had ever done. now having been a vaper for about five months I agree with him

I live in a fairly small town. I've met one person here on ECF from the same town and I have two friends who switched to vaping because I did. -- I've seen three or four people using 510s (one guy in traffic just a couple of days ago and there is a lady here in town who has been selling small form factor e-cigs for a couple of years, so I'll see one of her customers now and then), but other than my two friends and myself, I have never seen anyone using a mod.

So, that's pretty cool. I would have been a little excited to find someone else using a mod too.

Its even better if you can continue to allow and promote vaping in your restaurant. Got to get one of those little stickers that says vape friendly establishment.

Anyway pretty cool experience for the both of you and vapers as a whole!

Great story! I can imagine the surprise at not only meeting another vapor but one with a mod. I have met only a couple of PV users by sheer coincidence and all of them were having only partial success with over-hyped kits.

I have had one other customer a few weeks back with a V4L auto battery. That was pretty neat but i must admit ...not as neat as someone pulling out a freakin darwin.

Where can i get those vaping stickers btw???

Great story! In my 10 months of vaping I've met a few people interested, but no one that was actually vaping. Maybe it could have something to do with the fact that there are only 720 people in my town, and they are scattered over 40 square miles. Thanks for the post.

My place is right on the border of GA-TN. Exit 1 of I75. We could probably hold a dual state vape meet from Georgia and Tennessee =)

The only vaper out in the wild that I have spoken with was vaping an njoy and was certain it was the best electronic cigarette and I was ignorant for buying into manual batteries. He also said my infinity looked stupid. So not a good experience. I see him from time to time an just ignore him.
