Damn, Randy, where have you been hiding these threads? (I know, up my #$%+^@.) This one, the RN/DSE cigar comparison, the bling, and a few others of yours I just found a few minutes ago. It's like a walk through modder's heaven. Thank you.

I'm starting to focus on cigars because I fell in love with that cheap DX plastic one, but it didn't take long to 'wet its pants' and crap out. So, I've been looking for a cure for the juice running down into the electronics problem. Just ordered four more of them, and your research will help me immensely. You always have the best photos and concise descriptions. Which reminds me, I'll stop rambling now.

This is a fantastic mod! Since learning about ecigs, I have coveted the Ruyen bling cigar for it’s very unique appearance - but sadly refrained to buy when I read about the relatively cold vapor (which for me is a deal breaker). Is it inevitable to get the silicone ring from an RN4062 cigar or would you perhaps know about an alternative donor part / an alternative solution to fasten the 401 atomizer?

It lasted two months and a couple days, and the coil popped.

I puffed it 16-17 hrs a day, every day, for that time period, 3-4 ml per day

I cleaned it same as the cigar atomizer:
-Push the button for 2 shots of 5 second "red glow" a couple times a week.
-Once in a while, shove a little rolled up kleenex or paper towel down on the atomizer and blow out/soak up the un-vapable juice

Altogether, I was very pleased with this mod.
