It turns out that you were right in my case Ted. I've just tried the Ruyan juice again and it's not bad at all. It must have been the primer in my new Blings that had the horrible taste.
I just received my titanium Bling e-cigar this weekend. I am 100% happy with it so far, not a single complaint. It looks great, is good quality and feel, good vapor for an e-cigar, great battery life, and I think the Ruyan e-cigar liquid in the cartridges tastes good, and the e-cigar doesn't ruin the flavor in any way (like atomizer problems, etc)...it's like a sweeter cigar taste. I also have some carts with vanilla e-cigar liquid from another site that tastes good too! Seriously, it's a good e-cigar and is worth the moola! (I have to say it again- I LOVE the look of the titanium one so much!

I just got received my Bling. It is not performing well at all 
Inconsistent vapor, no vapor, no throat hit at all, similar to the video Leaford did for the e-cig.com cigar. Does it need time to run in?

After experimenting with the new bling for a while, it appears that the problem is with the cartridges. The sponge inside the cartridges is so dense and packed that when I draw, I must draw very hard to suck the vapor through the sponge. I will have to drip smoke this one...
The airflow is down the side of the cart but can be a problem with the bling!
I found my titanium hard to draw so drilled some more holes in the end cap but you could try unscrewing the cart a little as this helps.

The cart is not the problem as the vapour is not sucked through the sponge - if you don't belive me take the sponge out and try sucking through the cart from the wrong end - might be an idea to wash it out first though
I'm waiting for a Bling to arrive from Heavens Gifts. Will I need a 2 pin US to 3 pin UK adapter to use it over here?

Thanks for that and for the link. With the "Bling" does the charger itself plug into the wall? If so I was thinking maybe a travel plug might be a better bet?
Apparently it does, so that one I linked to wouldn't be any good for the bling. Amazon do sell a travel one that would do job though I think.

That charger is supposed to be pretty safe, it has a cut off or something that some cheaper ones don't have.

Well, I've had some time now to give my new bling a good trial run and here are my results.
Pros
- Battery life is awesome, 360mah whatever it is, it lasts more than a whole day, approximately double the life of a Janty Kissbox Pen in comparison for sure, frankly I get sick of having to recharge all the time.
- Keeps the flavor intact, in comparison once again to other e-cigs I have, you don't get that side-taste of plastic/metal whatever it is with the liquid, this is judging with new/old atomisers, unburnt wick etc, it appears the evaporation chamber only stays at a certain temperature, I never seem to find any cut off, but never a burnt taste even after 10 seconds draws.
- classy appearance
- everything is straight, no crookedness (well no screwing parts)
- nice atomization chamber, seems to hold great amount of liquid, no leakage, I can top it up and can smoke 20-30 mins straight before running empty
cons
- the draw tends to get long to get hard hits towards the end of the day when I've consumed sufficient daily nicotene requirements
- using cartridges, the draw is just too hard, and my little cheeks get sore like blowing too many baloons kind of effect, but great for liquid dripping

I went for the black and gold one, and i can't fault the finish really. Most here seem to prefer the titanium, but I rather like the lacquered black and gold colour.

An update on my Bling experience.
After a month or so of use I found that the Bling gets heavy to draw, it's not very satisfying at that stage. My use was moderate with diy juice and Janty juice, I did not use the cartridges that came with the Bling. It could be that the diy juice gunged the atomiser.
I'll be checking out Heaven Gifts warranty sometime when I get around to it.
