Today is my 7th day without analogs! YAY!

The last couple of days I have been feeling a bit "run down". Tired, a general "blah" or sick feeling. Nothing serious or particularly uncomfortable, but I was wondering if this has matched anyone else's experiencing detoxing for the other chemicals in analogs.

Feeling a bit better today and loving my PV, just wanted to know if this was the same for anyone else and how long it lasted.

Thanks!!

What level of nic are you vaping? If you can get through it...then letit pass. If not, and you feel the need to pick up a cigarette...then try bumping up your nic level (worse case scenario). Your body is just getting used to not smoking, physically and mentally. These are just the small drawbacks, wait until the great stuff starts to happen, like your lungs healing, regaining your (pre-smoking) sense of taste and smell...when you weigh out the positives and the negatives...the juice, is worth the squeeze!

I've read that your situation is not uncommon at all.

I guess I was soooo day-um happy, that my joy, relief and 'freedom' buried any symptoms my bod endured. Keep in mind, that I was a 45 year 2 Pad smoker.

Listen to da folk here and we'll all get ya over the bumps in da road. Then ya'll be able to help others! thumbsup.gif

Yes exactly how I felt in the beginning. I felt like I was about to come down with flu or something. Not actually sick, just off. When that got better I was really hungry for almost a week. Ravenous. And my taste buds and sense of smell were back. I out-ate my fiance at a buffet. He was done dessert and I was still eating these huge shrimps haha. Then after that hungry week was over I was pretty normal.

Drink plenty of fluids - vaping can be drying
Eat well and taking vitamins for a week doesn't hurt

Besides just the 4000 analog chemicals (now including carpet glue!) wearing off, you also should watch for the affects of too much nicotine which can be headache, rapid or irregular heartbeat, cold fingertips, and also a hazy or general yuck feeling

If you are having any trouble sleeping, some people find they sleep better if they vape lower nic in the evening. I am the opposite - I vape plenty right before bed and it calms me.

I also find it relaxing to have an extra charged battery I start using late at night when I set up all of the day stuff to charge (and I have enough charger cables to do that). Then when I am ready for bed I don't have to decide when my last drag is to start disassembling and charging. And when I wake up, the overnight ecig is ready to vape.

I felt awful the first week or so, headaches, muscle tension, anger, frustration, I felt like I was getting the flu O_O
It's slowly getting better, I have good days and bad, it's hard for me to tell if I'm physically detoxing or if it's more psychological, but I'd agree that drinking lots of water and also deep breathing can help! Also I'm pretty much constantly vaping or else I get antsy, I don't know if I should up my nicotine intake or if it'll pass...
Good luck!

No question about it, vaping is definitely better for the body than smoking. Lots of changes, tastes, moods, etc. will happen, but when you lay there at night realizing you no longer have to sing yourself to sleep, you'll know it's worth it. Let there be no question that what you are doing simply has to be better than than the analogs for your health.
