I was a PAD+ smoker for 20 years and the day I got a BLU disposable I dropped down to 3-4 stinks a day. After the BLU's were done I grabbed an eGo-C kit from a local B&M that just opened up. That was a month ago and I had a pack and a half left over. I continued to smoke 3-4 a day until I had about 5 or 6 left. I then only smoked first thing in the morning as that was when I craved an analog the most, then I went down to 2 analogs and kept them as an in case of emergency which are now gone plus 3 that I bummed from a co worker.

Now the first two weeks I'd vape when I craved a stinky and as the days went on the cravings started to go away but I would continue to vape a few pulls here and there as the day went on. I didn't really get many symptoms of withdrawal with the exception of feeling agitated and impatient. I also had two nights back to back with EXTREMELY VIVID dreams! I haven't experienced the coughs and hacking and only barely felt the cold/flu like symptoms.
No stinkies in 8 days and with just a little bit of the agitation and short patients, other then that I feel great! Congrats on quitting and keep it up!!!

i have 18 rather stale reds left by my printer along with a Zippo that has long since dried out. They remind me not to be so stupid in future!

You might want to try a little more vapor, or use a higher nicotine vapor as well (carefully, btw), to get you through any rough spots, to see if you feel better. Once feeling better, you can always drop back. BUT, it sounds as if you know what you're doing, know yourself and your body, and how you are reacting. Leaning a little more on the vapor when hitting some rough spots seemed to really help me early on. ymmv......hope this works for ya.

Congratulations on quitting the analogs! I'm new to vaping too and quit smoking on May 1, 2013 and I've been smoke free for 25 days now and I feel pretty good! I did get really thirsty and sometimes I still need to drink more than I did before, thought it was just me but from reading the forum I guess it's a pretty normal response. I haven't had any cravings or anxieties like I did every time I tried to quit smoking before, I made it six months one time but gained 50lbs and I was so upset I went back to smoking. I haven't gained any weight with vaping, so I'm loving it!

Congratulations on making it this far. I don't know what you are using as far as a device/juice, but I was using a 100% VG juice when I started, and I was constantly thirsty. Switched to a PG mix, and that helped a lot. Also, get ready for a sore throat if you were a smoking machine. I don't know why, but even when I tried quitting cold turkey, I got a horrible nasal drip, which I hear is pretty common.

Depending on how much/how long you've smoked, also get ready to start hacking some stuff up for the next few weeks. I smoked for 15 years, and I'm still coughing up some pretty gnarly stuff. But better to cough it out than keep in in the lungs.

I keep my zippo fueled up and ready to go, just because it's nice to have a good looking lighter ready when you need it. Plus it was my grandfather's antique silver. Looks good peeking out of a coin pocket in the jeans. NOT FOR ANALOGS, however.

I was a 1/2 pad m/l smoker when I made the switch to vaping. Like you I did experience some transitional affects. Fatigue, a not quite scratchy throat, and a little anxiety cig craving stuff. I took a nap when I could, vaped when I needed to and I did a detox regime using bentonite clay starting from day one. Since vaping and the bentonite both need more water consumption, I upped my intake to well over a gallon a day just in water alone. I don't know if the Bentonite helped or not, I just know that over all, I feel tons better than I did when I lit up.

I'm sure you'll be feeling on top of the world in no time!
