I'm looking to make the same switch. Did u go for nicotine it non nicotine eliquids? Any other noob tips?

Ozzyman,

The best advice I will give is to make sure what you want first and then hit the forum and ask lots of questions. I was smoking Marlboro lights so I went with a 12 and an 8 on my nicotine strength. I also ordered my tobacco flavor and 4 others( chocolate, cola, butterscotch, cinn/apple/cranberry). 2 were in 8 and 3 were in 12. I am alternating the flavors, but I have lost the normal craving for analogs. So the best advice I have is to just ask questions, because what you don't know about vaping.....someone on here will!!! Good luck to you!:)

PS: Sorry I am so late in responding with this...my Ferrari of a laptop halted the pinto of our router and we had to go out and get a new one! LOL

Maka,

Well by my calculations you should be one week four days....so still going okay? I hope so! Keep up the good work! Breathing easier is so worth it! Good Luck!

Jobisma:)

That is 100% correct, one week four days.
Thanks for the post.
It's going ok, but I have ran out of the juice I like, I have 3 bottles of juice I don't really like to see me through but hoping that my order from Health Cabin will arrive early next week. I will also go for a drive to see a guy who may have some cigarette flavour juice which might help over the next 2-3 days.

Breathing for me has never been a problem, even as a 30 a day heavy smoker i never had any health problems over the last 20 years, no coughing or hacking ever for me, must have been just lucky.

Hope all is going well your end too.

Osprey808,

This has been the only thing that has worked besides the one time I did quit cold turkey; for almost 4 years....That was really hard. I made Medusa look maternal during that time. I was doing great with not smoking until I decided to plan my own wedding and when it coincided with a death, and my mother having a kidney transplant within 2 week period of time, sent me running back to the MARLBORO MAN.

So yes...I am doing AWESOME!!!

You must be vaping a lot more than I do. My main objective was to quit. I needed to get off tobacco and nicotine both. But as I taper down I can still vape on the nicotine since the tobacco and carcinogenics its filled with are gone! I was so thrilled to find myself able to sing the longer notes in songs now. It has helped my breathing quality of life. I wasn't born as lucky as you...I have asthma and allergies. Good Luck too you!

Bella,

Oh so pretty pink...I love the color. I see you got the nail stickers too...I bought mine I still haven't added them yet. Which kit did you go with? Don't give up....Rome wasn't built in a day! You'll get there!

I discovered something about myself today....I am a woman of course and there are many ways something effects us. I saw a young woman smoking an analog in a parking lot standing by her car. For a second I craved until I realized how I was craving....it was by visual stimulation. The girl could have been holding a chocolate bar, a coach bag, or a diamond ring or a maid, I would have wanted those too! (Truthfully, I would have mugged her for the maid!!!!) My e-cig handles my physical cravings, mood cravings....it's the visual ones I have to slap myself in the face at!

I am making so many typos will have to spell check and sign off for the night. LOL my left hand is typing faster than the right on at this point. LOL I would try to monitor my smoking habits with my feelings to see whats going on it might help. Good luck to you!

Haiqu,

So...how are you doing now? It's coming up on a week. Still no cravings for analogs? I sure hope you are enjoying your healthier smoking implement as I am! It's amazing!!! Good Luck to you!

Jobisma:)

Find I'm sleeping a lot and I still don't have any really great flavoured juices, but no cigs yet. Snus have helped.

I made the switch on the 1st of June and haven't looked back. Based on my experience I agree with you that to be successful you should try to have a clean switch and avoid smoking analogues even if it means chain vaping for the first few days. The people that I know that went back are the ones that kept smoking and vaping trying to make a gradual switch.

Way to go all new Vapers! Today is 3 weeks and no smoking YAY! :) I think my husband is tired of counting the days LOL Oh well gotta tell someone right? Have a great day! :)

sorry need to make a correction my husbands tired of ME counting the days also I still have cigs left and I keep them outside so I keep forgetting to get rid of them :)

Tazzy,

A Big congrats to you too! Good luck in finishing the analogs and being free!!! It's a great reward!
