Ok gonna get this off my chest before bed. Sorry family but it's eating at me.
I'm the oldest person at the shop I work at. (no names so no rules broken). Most of these kids are young enough to be my children and maybe even grand kids. It just pisses me off when I come in with a Provari, or a Legacy mechanical with a sub ohm wick I made. All I hear is they want one. I made some SS wicks for my nova's when we couldn't get em. I didn't sell em I just made my own. Now all I hear is I want, I want, How much to make me one.
I want a Provari like you, or I want one of your Legacy's, or a SB. I want a kick but please tell me what it is first?
I'm so feed up with this. I want a tank like yours. (Phiniac or IB tanks are all I use), Just got a Kanger Pro tank and now they all want one.
One actually said he was thinking about giving me a dollar for one of my Provari's. I told him it was ok to think, that was his right. He really took it to mean I would give him a Provari for a dollar, just because he thought about it. OMG.
Same questions. If I give you the money will you get me one. Same answer. Do you have a computer and internet at home.
Yes.
Then get it yourself just like I did.
Figure it out kids. It's called the WorldWideWeb for a reason. Don't depend on me to do it for your lazy ....
You want to build a wick then go to you tube. That's how this old man learned.
But I don't know how.
Then learn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok rant over. And all this after having to wear a respirator mask for the painter cause of the fumes messing with my COPD, and also haveing a dumb .... pull a gun at the cash register. OMG What are we going to depend on. These are the people that will take care of me when I'm to old to do it myself. Hell no I'll go out in a blaze of glory. With pride and a smile on my face. (I just hope she's pretty). Oh heck I already know she is so it's all covered.

My boss (I bought him his first and only kit), told me the other day:

"I'm out of juice! Can you buy me some!!!!!"

No! I will not. You know how to walk now! Learn how to run on your own!

All my children are hard-working, honest people. It depends largely on how they're raised. There are bums in every generation. They just keep passing it on. Yet, you never know how someone will turn out. It's amazing how personality can shine through, no matter the background.

And, speaking as an older person, age does not mean wisdom. You just can't tell with youth if they're going through a phase or if they're really just . . . . . whatever it is they are. It's just that when you're old, whatever it is you are finally really shows.

Steam Turbine, maybe you could print out a bunch of little stickies with the info for your boss (website, flavor, mg/ml, etc.), then whenever he asks, just pull off a sticky and stick it to his forehead. OK, maybe stick it to his jacket pocket instead. We don't want to get you fired.

Most people are lazy. I think that what got most of us vaping was curiosity more than the need to vape. I remember back in 09 I felt I needed more, and was already dreaming of clearos! that's what separates successful people from others: curiosity.

On the other hand, I find people amazed with vaping but don't want to put the work it needs. To each, their own. I help my people and inform others and that's it. We have to take the "idiot savant" thoughts from our minds.
