maybe I don't know what type of brush that is. don't you have to take out the cup seal from the vision or ce2 to do that?

Yep. It is best to remove the Cup Seal to get the Dentek Brush Under the Wick/Coil.

I have "popped" a few, & I have learned I just HAVE TO PAY attention & count ... I just rinse off a few seconds & then fold it up in p.towel & carry to back room (the magnifying light is there) & squish water out of wick carefully w/P.towel & dry burn ...& I have to count or they can "pop" ....push button 1,2,3,4,5, let up wait a few seconds & repeat till the glow is all the way across & wick within coil is white again (patience is key here), then I blow in it to remove ash ...check under magnifier & if clean ....reassemble & vape .

sorry you are having so many problems w/them Rob ....

For me, i wouldn't blow on the coil. That will kill it faster somehow.

can you explain the soaking, I have white vinegar, I filled a little dish, and dropped in a ce2 to try it, let it soak for a bit but it didn't seem to remove anything, am i supposed to leave it in like overnight? gonna try it again with a vision that needs to be cleaned.

Stay away from Sweet e-liquids?

Soaking the Wick/Coil in PGA, Vodka or White Vinegar helps Dissolve the "Gunk" and Greatly Reduces the Amount of Power Needed to Clean the Wick/Coil. Soak in whatever you like and then Rinse/Dry with Hot Water. Think of it as Scraping the Grime off the sides of Oven Before you set it to Self Clean.

I usualy soak mine for about 5 or 6 hours but Overnight is fine.

Then Rinse/Dry in hot water and it sound like your ready for a Dry Burn.

are you talking about the nipple? I got one where the nipple was just crushed, luckily I had an extra cup seal.

Nope, the air tube, the metal tube thingy. When I looked at it the wick slits did not match to the wicks so I pulled the plug out. And when I did, the whole internal assembly immediately cocked over to the side so that the cup is touching the tubing. You cant get the plug back in of course now. It was definitely a WTF moment.

The Other 1/4 is Keeping Up with the Constant Parade of New and Interesting Products gotvapes seems to be able to Come Up With.

Hope you had a Good New Year Bad and am Ready for some More Bombing Runs.

I've had that happen. You can usually center the cup by putting something such as a heavy pin, small, nail, etc, in the hole from the battery end, to center the cup while you push the cup seal back in. I use a finishing nail.

Thanks, I will try that!

No, thank you! I was reading this thread while I was getting ready to fill a new Vision with a new recipe juice I just made. I forget sometimes to look to see if the slits are lined up. They were off. I had to pull the seal and realign them. Thanks for the reminder.

What ever happened to Rob soaking his Cartos in Vinegar?

With his Luck, the Vinegar probably caught Fire and Burned his House Down.

;)

Vinegar plus baking soda equals fire extinguisher. :)

One vision and ce2 soaking in vinegar since last night. I will try them this weekend

Throw some baking soda in there for some fizzy action, I tried doing that with some atomizers, don't think it works very well cleaning the oil, but it may help you.

Hmm, that is a good question. It might, it's why I use a sonic cleaner (the motion bubbly thing) as often as not. And that DOES work well with atomizers too.
