I have only known about this forum for a few days, and due to wife and kid with colds/flu, we stayed home all weekend and I entertained myself by learning all I could about vaping and gear. ECF is INCREDIBLE! What a resource and the atmosphere and attitude of the community is educational and friendly. This was a great find!

So I've only been vaping for about 6 months. Started with Blu, which lasted for about 3 days before I traded for a Joye Ego-C that someone didn't like. It's been okay, but I've always felt I've been missing something...

I started researching all of this for the first time a few days ago. I'm now over $200 dollars poorer, but have so much stuff coming, it's going to feel like Christmas over the next week or two!

Highlights are going to be a couple Kanger Pro's and a SS Vamo (or two?). Of course, all the batteries, adapters for thread protection, charger, etc... All that stuff adds up quickly, but I spent all weekend researching and shopping around for great prices. The hardest part of it all was trying to figure out which batteries were the "best". I opted for the Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mah. Also, have 2 unknown batteries coming from the first Vamo I ordered as a kit.

I've been using Johnson Creek juice exclusively for no particular reason other than I have been "afraid" to try anything else, but have now ordered numerous samples from Ginger's and Virgin Vapor.

Up until a few days ago, I've been mildly satisfied with what I've been using. Battery and juice lasted the day, what more could I ask for? Evidently, there is a whole new world out there. Tastes, gadgets, toys... I'm done for... And so it begins...

Doing your homework...excellent. Always good to make informed decisions. And welcome to the site! There are soooo many juice vendors it can be difficult to find one that serves all your needs. If you haven't found Ms. T's Bakery yet, give it a look. She was the third juice vendor I tried and remains my favorite.

Thanks All. It's going to be fun. My goal when I started vaping was to stop analog. I went from a pack a day to a pack a week, but no hard stop was going to happen for me. It's difficult in the morning because, strangely enough, vapor tastes horrible to me until after I wake up. Strange, but true. I'm hoping something a little better will satisfy me enough to get by that hump.

@MoonLit_Water They are about an hour away from me. There is one that is closer, I believe (different company?) and a kiosk at the Sanford Mall, but I haven't been to either one. I actually live between Orlando and Daytona Beach, so I'm on the other side of the city. I will check them out if I ever get out there. Maybe the next time we go to Columbia in Celebration?

@woofpuppy I haven't seen them yet. I've put them next on the list. There's some interesting flavors in there I'd like to try. Thanks for the info!

Oh and woofpuppy, I hated homework when I was a kid, but now, when spending my own money, I have seen the light and discovered the importance of not making the wife too mad. Ummm, I mean, making an informed decision!

@Dakota Jim, they make it too easy. I remember having to fill out an order sheet, write a check and wait a few weeks for the order to get there, the check to clear, the order filled and then mailed back. I don't even have to fill out the registration info because I have a plugin for that. Who would have thunk?

I have been diligently stalking this forum for a few weeks! There is definitely lots of useful information to be found in these threads! I also started out with a cigalike type PV and it only lasted a few days before I gave up, so I was very skeptical of other brands. My mother bought a Volt X2 and a T3 clearo... and I was sold! I am very happy to report that I am now an ex smoker of 53 days! I had a very easy transition from a 30 year-2 pack a day Marlboro red addiction! From the moment I started vaping ... I have not smoked a single stink stick! I think that my biggest problem was deciding what do do with my hands ... I held a cigarette just to have something in my fingers! Weird? My kids thought so!

@dmswells That's what I'm hoping as far as going from my current solution to a decent system. Almost everything I put in these, comes out, kind of bitter and burnt tasting. I've tried many of the tricks to try and get rid of this, but I think I just need something with more control. I started watching videos and couldn't believe the amount of vapor people were getting out of these things. I have my fingers crossed that I will indeed be able to put away the analogs and go all the way. I'm with you on the hands. I'm calm on the outside, but jittery internally and always have to have something going on. Carrots don't work either!
