I have nesoid with about 200 roms (which you can download at any rom site), most of them run perfect, with perfect 8 bit sound, and no lag :)

the snapdragon processor is pretty sick.... its a shame that the nexus one is only on t-mobile... i would much rather have that then the droid... but im happy either way, its not an iphone :D

I'm on xda and ppcgeeks, been playing with an old vogue that I flashed an android rom on. it's almost time to get a new phone, and while I've been thinking I was gonna hold out till the nvidia tegra stuff was more widely available, I might be looking for a 1ghz snapdragon (?!) phone that I can go with either win 6.5.x or android.,

Yeah, those are great sites and I can do just about anything on my HTC Diamond. The only problem I have is that I'm running Winmo 6.5 with HTC sense 2.5 which is pretty similar to the hero. Another thing is that android is pretty close to being fully ported to the diamond and I can do a "Dual Boot" rom that will load either Winmo or android when the phone starts.

So I kinda have the best of both worlds right now.

I'm a big Android fan. So far, my boyfriend and I both have Droids and we got a Nook, which also runs Android, over the weekend.

Currently I'm brushing up on my Java skills to start programming some apps.

I love to give my boss ..... when his crappy iPhone can't receive email or make calls. Sigh, he never listens...

I have 3.

Running rooted droid, 2.2 Bugless Beast 0.4 with a p3 kernel stable clocked to 1.2 GHz, this thing FLYS and is now more responsive than the X (Which I am none to impressed with now, almost got one...)

Droid Eris running CELEB Froyo 2.2 (haha!) clocked to 729mhz stable, no sense UI just vanilla never-comming-to-eris in any other way froyo UI also.

My wife has a new LG Ally that im working on rooting as soon a OC kernal can get wipped up, in which case ill aim for 1ghz on it (The hardware can do at least that, if not more.)

Ive been rooting/clocking/modding these phones since they came out, Ill probably reflash one or the other phone almost weekly to experiment with new releases or features.

I <3 Android.

I almost forgot, another thing I do is work on ways to get smooth, PLAYABLE pc games to run remotely on the droid.

(Note: These are filmed with ANOTHER cell phones camera so they games are even smoother then you see here, forgive my poor one-handed filming skills)

All these videos are my experiments, modifications and relevent ROM/Kernal/App/power settings usually:

EvE Online on the droid (VERY VERY playable, and a GREAT use for it if you know the game!)
YouTube - EvE Online, played on a DROID phone 2

Everquest (Project 1999 emulated 100% classic server)
In this case I developed settings/UI schemes to make it scale properly on a smaller screen and make the best use of the touch screen:
YouTube - Project 1999/EverQuest Running on a Moto DROID Pt 8, UI and playability!

There are more videos in there, im still working on more games. Next up will be vanguard tonight.

I'm an Eris user. Great phone, but it's been a little bit buggy since the upgrade to 2.1.

Apps include all of the pre-installed, plus Bebbled, Huffington Post, NPR, Shop Savvy, Alphamixer, BBC News, Advanced Task Killer (I know, there's some controversy about the benefit of task killers on an android system),Shout Out, Ringroid, Tapatalk, etc.

I wish verizon had an EVO equivalent. They seem to be behind the curve a bit.
