What's up with those patronizing folks who think we still smoke? I've been lucky, during the whole of my vaping business thing I only met one such person who continues to annoy me each time.
I am allowed to vape at work, but refrain to do so if there are a lot of people around, it just looks too junkie-ish for the average uninformed person's mind. But I do have my ego on my desk. So, one day a co-worker - who never smoked - asked me how is my "smoking" going. It took me a while to realize she was referring to my ego, and I said it's no smoke. Without asking she just started saying it's really bad, "worse than smoking", continues the addiction, really bad on the lungs etc etc. She was no susceptible to explanation from my part. So I decided that in the future I am just gonna ignore her when it comes to "smoking". Yesterday, again, she asked how is it going (I suppose she thinks I am struggling with my "smoking" addiction and want to quit but fail each time when I take a vape). I didn't say anything, just "well". And she, as if trying to finish my sentence, said with an infuriating smirk, "yes, slowly slowly maybe you'll get there."
Luckily, she is an exception. And I do manage to find it funny, but at the same time I cannot stand it. Probably every one of us has stories of incidents like these.
