Overall I am absolutely delighted with the KGO, I've bought three kits (from two different vendors.)

That's six batteries. On 3/6, including both of the ones from my newest order and after only a week's use, after depressing the button for a vape, the LED light will flash continuously. I have to press repeatedly 7-9 times for it to stop. Holding it down again doesn't work. This happens whether the batts are partially or fully charged.

It's really annoying. All batteries worked fine initially. Now I have three I basically can't use because they don't appear to be heating up much while the light's flashing. Interestingly enough, the batteries from the first kit I got over three months ago are still going strong and never do the flashy-lighty thing. I've been happy to recommend the KGO up until now...

Why is this happening, has it happened to anyone else? I'm going to shoot a friendly note to the vendor I got the last kit from - just over a week ago and both batts are doing this now - to see if it's a known issue.

Thanks blkhwk....I've tried different cartos (both BOGE and Ressurector) because I thought of that too. Happens no matter what charger I use...I only have the ones that come with the kit and charge them with the wall charger, not the USB.
What do you mean by lifting the center post on the battery? If it's an option, I'll try it!

Ohio,in the sticks!
The center pin on the battery (the part the carto touches). Put something thin between the center pin and the outside wall, and gently pry up in a couple places (if using something metal like a knife or small screwdriver)make sure you don't hit the button or better yet make sure battery is off. I have to do this for some cartos or stardust,as the pin gets pushed down and it wont make good contact. And get fast flash.

That sounds like a short caused by the center contact in the atomizer, not the battery, being flush with the outer ring. When you put it on the battery the center contact should touch. Screwing an atty on too tight can drive the center contact into the atty and allow the outer ring to contact the center post on the battery and cause a short. That is generally indicated by flashes on the LED.

Bend one leg of a jumbo paper clip out and use needle nose pliers to create a tiny right angle bend on the end. Stick it into the center hole on the battery and use the bend as a hook to grab the center contact on the atty and work it out just enough so that the center atty contact is slightly higher than the outer ring. That should solve the problem. Don't insert it any farther than it takes to get it into the hole and wedge against the sides. If you insert it too far, you can contact the coil and break the wire.
