Been smoking my new sedansa and after 2 hours use the led on the end will flash 10 times so i change the battery.

But this happened one hour ago so i decided to ignore it and keep smoking and she is still going strong!

I cant seem to find the answer to why it is flashing like this, anyone?

Hi Ted:

Sedansa penstyles are the ones I prefer using on a regular basis. You'll get the hang of not drawing/dragging super long in order to avoid the auto-off safety feature (too much nic). And 10 times means your drag is too long. So do not charge it.

If it flashes over 20 times, it means it needs charging pretty soon. And over 30 times means it is self-cleaning.

I puff/vape constantly on my Sedansa, but I don't do it until I get the 10 flashes. I can't inhale that long!!!

And my batteries last about 8 hours or so each, but I use several Sedansas during the day to give each a break. And then I plug my batteries in at night when I go to bed.

You must have some bloody good batteries to last that long as my three sedansa units never did

Hi there Zeppelin (I like your name):

I like your name, Zeppelin. I watched the movie The Hindenburg with George C. Scott yesterday. It was an excellent movie.

That's terrible your Sedansas didn't work. You should ask for a refund or an exchange. I have had to write them before and tell them I've had DOA batteries, and they sent me more (w/extras), without me even sending them the bad ones back. This was some time ago, so I don't know if they still do that, but if you want, since they know me so well, I can put in a good word for you with the owner. I don't have any clout with them, but they do know me. I could try . . . .

Which Sedansa model batteries were no good?

Hi Marian my name comes from an old acquaintance of mine who lives down the road from me and has a nice little band beginning with the name led.
Regarding sedansa I have had two pens and one cigar both have been faulty. The pens on both atomiser kept tasting of that old burnt taste and which ever way you cleaned them it would not go away and the batteries on the first unit went dead within two days.
The cigar they sent was the wrong colour and that worked for a while and stopped working they also forgot to send me and an additional charge as well which wasn't in the box on arrival.
So I have basically returned and asked for my money back. The one good thing sedansa do get right is the cartridges are very good and I do like these.
As we all know all these electronic cigarettes do have their failures but so far for satisfaction theJanty kiss box classic is the one for me. These sometimes are not perfect either but I personally think they do outperform everything else out there.

Hi NedZep:

I watched a music documentary on Led Zeppelin last week, also very good!

Sorry to hear about your crummy experiences with Sedansa. I, too, had trouble with my Janty Classic Kissboxes (4). Our switches were the culprit and then two of our atomizers went bad. We had the atomizers and switches replaced, but now all of our switches are bad again.

I think you're right about this new technology. Sometimes it's hit and miss. As long as you find something that you like and that works for you, that is what matters in the end. I am glad you found Janty, as I do love them too. I have the Janty Classics too and love them.

Oh, and I agree about Sedansas cartridges lasting a long time and working very well. I wonder what they do differently to make them better. I haven't figured that out yet.

I have gone from 40 cigs a day to my sedansa and find the batteries last me around 4 hours which is amazing as the generics i bought lasted 1 hour max.

Hi Ted:

That is what I like about their batteries. Four hours is good. And you are right about others' batteries. Most manufacturers just use the generic ones. Sedansa engineered their own to last longer and also to be stronger. Even my generic atomizers work pretty darned well with my pink Diva batteries. I just wish they were not so expensive.

As for you going from 40 cigs to Sedansa, all I can say is AMAZING!!! I also smoked from 1.5 to 2 packs per day but it took me a month before I totally switched over. But then again, I wasn't smoking premium brand e-cgis. I worked my way up. Hard lessons learned!

Congratulations, Ted!! Keep it up. I'm sure you feel so much better now too. I know I do.
