Annoying Whistle Sound

I made an attempt to "fix" this last night and I'll use that term loosely lol.
My wife and I have the same cartomizers, Kanger Tech T3'D.
One of hers was making a loud annoying whistle when she was taking a draw.
I cleaned out the carto and it was good but then this morning it started to whistle again.
Should we just give it another good cleaning and swap out the coil?
Maybe I didn't search correctly, I couldn't find anything on this.

The whistle I have tracked down was coming from sharp edges on the air-intake hole(s) on various tanks. You could try to just round them a little.

Consider replacing the plastic tip.
Those tips are sold separately, since they know people tend to chew and break them (like i did)
