Anodized Aluminum T-Tips, should be in later this week! These will feature the new contoured design as well as the new larger opening and new deeper recessed funnel to further aid dripping! Available in Gold, Blue, Red, Violet, Green, Clear, Black. I may try some Teal at some point too if anyone is interested!

Is anodizing like powdercoating that it makes the paint last?

Anodizing is not a painting, powdercoating, chroming or a coating process. You don't apply anything to anodize, it's actually changing the composition of the surface layer of the aluminum by subjecting it to acid and electricity. It gets its color by adding a dye after it's been anodized. That is why anodizing is superior to other methods as it is very durable and is actually part of the part so to speak!

yeah it opens up the pores in the aluminum and gives them an electrical charge (anode) ...and then you put them into the dye and it draws the dye into the pores (and heres where I always get my polarity confused) the charged part attracts and bonds with the electrons in the dye which fill in the pores and seals them..

you can technically do it at home...but professionally the color gets in deeper and therefore it's less prone to scratching off the color...

Oh man more tips to order. Good news :thumb:

That's totally awesome...now I don't have to home anodize...

But I gotta go OT a sec here..and say while I'm all for the anodized Ttips...what's the progress on the 4in1 adapter release?

yup guess I won't need your address now :D

What no pink?!?! Thye and some of the ladies are gonna be disappointed!

That's great though that you're offering colors! Now will all colors be available in "regular" and "shorty" varieties?

Back in the late sixties / early seventies there were tons of anodized aluminum drinking cups. Remember ? Gold, green, blue, silver? We would get them with Gas whenever my mom would fill up the car. Back when full service stations were still around and they provided full service like, checking the oil, topping off the washer bottle, checking the radiator.. All for free :w00t:

Back to the post....

I think anodized aluminum is fine.

Believe it or not Brock Those Full Service Gas stations you're referring to, still exist In NJ...Although I don't think they give you anything for free anymore, and i'm pretty sure you actually have to ask to get Anything checked these days....But i do believe NJ has a law where the Gas station attendant has to pump your gas though....Correct me if I'm wrong....I fly back and forth to NYC a lot and sometimes i have to go to NJ for a meeting... And i have yet, to see a Self serve gas station while traveling in NJ....
