Yea, Thanks,,, It was my go to so now I'm back to the Brick. It vapes great but doesn't fit the hand as well as this tube mod did. Oh well come easy go easy. Perhaps a new side by side steampunk mod but I was wanting to wait till the Giantomizers come out. I am now having a very intense flare up of "Modumust Fever" for sure.

Not a dumb question at all.
I cut 2 slots on each side of the tube about 10mm above the bottom of the atty so that the juice can get to the wick. That and the quick fill screw is what makes this a "Gummy Tank" instead of a MAP tank. Quick to fill, and to mod the atty only takes ~10 seconds with a dremel. no need to buy expensive pre-modded c2s. The design is open for any DIY that you want to make. Just not for marketing. (unless you give me a %)

I think he means the kitchen sink part, but I don't think that is what it is. Gummy, sorry to hear of the passing, do you still have caps and resistors for the booster?

I do still have the end caps but the booster took a hit. I do have a spare booster and more tubing. So I guess I just need to get off me lazy but and "Get her done".

i actually am a design engineer/machinist. the hard part for most diy people would be the endcaps of the tank. When i get a little time i'll try to whip a set out and see how it goes.

A nice set of really well machined end caps make for a good looking tank. The inner "O" ring groove is a PITA but well worth the trouble if you have a mini lathe. (I don't) I made it on a drill press.

Well I would by now have a totally rebuilt tube mod except for the stupid RAT SHACK switch I bought for it.
It turned out to be a dud. (Again) I get so frizzed off with their stuff. The little 2 pack switches always run 50% dud. but the larger 3 amp ones have been OK, Till now. The rebuild works great so long as I push the 2 switch wires together by hand. and I don't have the skin on it yet.

Edit:
The Rat Shack was open so I now have it working as it should.

Here are a couple new pics of it without any cloths, I'll put the shirt back on latter.

She's still at 4.5 volts but this time I went with the fat 3 amp switch and didn't use a mosfet. It's a lot more comfy than the little switch.

Uhhh, Dang, I duno.
Well I could just open the file folder on it and look but,,, I had to reformat my computer last week and that file won't open. It was made in a newer format that the old ... program that I had to reload. SO to help you out lets ask Asdaq. I got them from him in the first place.

OK this is different,,, The rebuilt unit has so far about 3 times the battery life. The first one was only good for about 5 hours and so far today I'm over 12 hours and still going strong. Not that I'm complaining. The major difference is a new 3 amp switch without a mosfet in this one. It does have a new chip (same model) , caps (same specs), and stranded wires instead if solid core. other than that it's the same batteries, atty connector, atty, and end caps.
