Yeah but think about it, for sub Ohmers there’s really no temp control tank out there.

Huh?

Quite a few 'tanks' offer sub ohm replaceable heads in Ni, Ti or SS wire for use with T/C or if you build/use an rba of some sort you can use a wire type that is suitable for a temp control mode.

A committee from the Royal College of Physicians sat around and picked the number that seemed about right to them. No kidding. Something we all sorta gloss over when we throw it around.

Yeah... It is kinda Funny to watch that "Safer" Number get Waved around. Seeing that the RCP never said that.

Also Funny that Now we have a Number, we can Apply it to Every Type of Vaper, using Any type of Hardware, Vaping Any type of e-Liquid, at Any Coil Temperature.

That what's so Cool about Science. If you Like the Numbers, then it Must Apply to You.

LOL

95% safer would mean an additional 95% on top of the 100%. If you were looking at safeness as a pie where 5% tobacco and 95% vaping then that would be 20x. So if vaping is 95% what percentage is not vaping? Must be 0%... Wow not vaping is less safe than smoking!!

You are misrepresenting the pie. You are saying that vaping =95% of the pie, it does not, it only represents 5% of the pie, while smoking is 100% of the pie, they are NOT mutually exclusive pieces.

Seriously, grown ups arguing over the meaning of %.
It is a well known fact that 90% of everything on the inter web is only 16% accurate.

Running a chainsaw carving a bear out of a pine log inside your bedroom naked & drunk is 20% safer than smoking cigarettes.

That's why I only Read 10% of the stuff here. That way I'm up in the 84% Accuracy bracket.

Well a lot of what we consume have components which are bad for us. Me for example, i eat Toffee everyday, total toffee nut (Riesen - plain chocolate toffee/caramel). Toffee is made from Glocose Syrup (In America Corn syrup is used), Sugar, Heavy Cream. Awesome flavour and isn't in the same ball park as regular toffee. I do exercise for about 4 hours a day though so the cholesterol doesn't matter to me.

You wouldn't expect there to be any animal products in toffee, and would only really be concerned about sugar content, but heavy cream has over 10% cholesterol.

I don't see anyone suggesting banning animal products though.

Incidentally, did you know that corn syrup isn't available in the uk. Seems only north Americans use corn syrup.

Live and let live, that's what i say.

That is just it though, there CAN be carcinogens present in vapor if it is heated over 450F which many vapers do.
Yes. How much, though?
Did you stop eating grilled or fried food? Do you stop breathing when a car drives by?
I dont mean to make fun of people who design their vape as safe as possible.
On the other hand I find it ridiculous to cause panic over such little amounts of Formaldehyde, a chemical thats pretty much everywhere, including in apples, pears and exhalated air.

Yes, but the thing is it takes a lot to heat it up to 450. Like I use a Valyrian, the thing barely ever gets hit unless I chain vape it for 5 plus minutes. If it was 450 I wouldn’t even be able to touch it it’d be so hot yanno?

We are talking about the coil, not the outside of the tank. I promise if you open up the tank and fire a wet coil and touch it with your finger while firing it, it WILL blister your finger instantly. I vape TC at 435F and it is a "cool" vape using only about 20ish watts at .5 ohms. So yes a "warm" vape is probably getting the coil to 450F or higher. You have to remember that wire heats up and cool down very rapidly, so it doesn't heat the whole tank up.
