well it will have to wait till monday before I can start doing anything about it, I got news of the package by some of my employes a bit to late, we refused the package obviously because it was empty with a freaking COD bill, worst about this is that I actually called them before that and some of them said it was empty and i got them to confirm to me that it wasn't empty once I raised up a storm about it and missing content. Now im fairly sure customs doesn't release empty packages, so where i'm pointing fingers at right now is DHL, someone must have stolen the contents somewhere. If customs refused entry to the packages it should have been send back to my shipper, but empty packages is pretty much unacceptable. I'll try to retrieve the package thou with a copy of the COD bill, at this point i think that package is pretty much evidence and leverage i can use to force DHL hands into doing something about it or risk a lot of bad publicity.

Dude this is just so wrong .... and wreaks of DHL! I remembered you saying something about an empty box when trying to find out what was going on with customs and stuff, but I never thought those Jackholes would ever actually attempt to deliver one!

Well it seems DHL did get a empty package somehow, just received a new letter from Customs saying that my package is held at customs and that i have 90days to make a decision about ether re-exporting or abandoning it. Its still pretty messed up of DHL of putting it in tracking that my package was released by customs and trying to stick me with a freaking COD bill for custom clearance when they cleared jack all.

I also need to now close the paypal dispute i just opened with my supplier to get them to do something about DHL trying to send me a empty package, since i know the risks of importing e-juice in Canada, I wont hold them responsible for a package that hasn't cleared customs, it would have been a different story if it actually cleared customs and i never received it. Like i was mislead to believe by DHL tracking >>. I'm still going to raise up a storm with DHL about trying to stick a COD bill for a empty package when they didn't clear anything with customs thou.

Wow, unbelievable. I'm adding DHL to my "avoid at all costs" list. I think First Class USPS is all I have left for reasonable options.

I have bben importing stuff from everywnere on the planet for about 12 yrs and DHL/UPS/ are the main 2 on top of my "avoid at all costs" list.

Followed at a certain distance by Purolator and FEDEX.

I would rather wait for CP or USPS or HKP or whatever the national postage business is.

But when you have to do it...you gotta do it :/

When it comes to importing from the US, I say go with USPS whenever you can ... it sucks that some companies like Capellas only have UPS as a shipping option, which is why I have not re-ordered with them since, but that sucks since their Flavorings are the best IMO.
