Another Cartomizer E2 problem?

I tried searching on thru the forums but i didn't manage to get anything on the problem i have.

Ok, apparently what i got was the 2nd release for E2 Cartos from RoyalSmokers bought from e-liquid.cn. Yes i took the plunge and it hurts now, haha

Not too sure if this is the case tho, the manufacturing date was July 16 2010.

That aside, the vape is not really great which is not my main concern, however its still is. The main problem im facing is, LEAKAGE. Not a storage leak but a leak thru the mouthpiece and into my mouth when i vape. I went thru a few checks and all and realize that the leak is happening when you fire up the atty, kinda like a bubbling effect and it splatters out into the mouthpiece which after drawing, would end up in your mouth. Kinda sucky if you ask me.

Anyone that got the E2s have any problems like mine?

That happens to me when I over fill. I've noticed that quite a few prefilled carts come overfilled so maybe that's what happened. Try blowing out the excess onto a paper towel and trying again.

That does sound like overfilling. After you fill the carto, use a q-tip or paper towel and soak up any of the overfill that shows up on top the inner ring. I use a 901 whistle tip on my 510 CE2s, and that helps with that a bit and cools off the vapor too.

Im using my drip tip on the cartos rite now, it seems ok although it defeats my purpose in getting the carto for the lenght. However, the vape aint even close to direct dripping on an atty.... i guess thats the downside huh.

it feels like Im tailpiping if i dun have my drip tips on.. burns the lips!

You're just overfilling it, friend. Make sure when you refill not to let the level of the juice go higher then the inner ring. Also make sure you put the inner ring back in before you vape.

I noticed 1 thing tho, it seems to vape better on my original 510 battery, which i believe its at 3.4v or so. Doesn't do really well with my box mod..

ahhh i want and ego soo bad now.. arrghh its the "I want to have everything" syndrome again! DAMn!!

I can't wait for the ceramics to come out. Since it's a product being perfected it will be interesting to see what design they settle on. The design looks very promising.

being me, with my random fiddlings and tweaking on stuff - practically all my stuffs . I have found out what is wrong with my cartos...

The reason why its spilling out from the centre hole and not producing sufficient vaper ( at least for me) is that the atomizer coil is too near the surface! after being ...... with the low vape and spilling issues, out of frustration i kinda gave the coil a push down with a paperclip. now it sits relatively lower and damn, vaper got up to nearly direct dripping standard and i don't seem to have leaks too.

I guess its a QC issue, I used 2 from the blister pack and both had the same issue.. But now im quite happy with them.

guys with the Ce2 should try it, however... at you own risk tho..

when did you order and recieve them, I highly doubt your using the latest revision,

the ceramics have not been recieved yet by anyone so its most likely your playing a 50/50 toss on having a good e2 or a lousy one.

in a week or so the new improved ones with ceramics should be tested by someone here.

Im only about 3 weeks into vaping and have a Riva 510, I loved the carts because nothing beat a wet cart on an atomizer. But they just didnt last long (6 hits ?).
I LOVE your idea of pushing the whole insides down, I used an open pentip. Instantly heavy clouds and better vapes.

I had a flooding/leaking problem with the r4's as well, but only really with the XL's some worked some didn't. If it ever laid on its side for more than 5 minutes I had a leak and a gurgle. I'm workin on it.
