Another Day, Another Kraken Giving Off A Harsh Hit

Im using a kraken clone with a dual coil .6 ohm build on a nemesis clone. For some reason it seems like I can get hits that have plenty of vapor but the hit is just too harsh, I hate getting that burning feeling down the back of my throat. Im using 0mg juice so there shouldn't be any gnarly throat hit.

I know a common issue with the kraken is how much cotton is being used. Am I using too much cotton or could the problem be with the coils? Here are some pics of my kraken's deck.

I have a suggestion...Use Mesh, much better wicking in a genisis atomizer

I recommend using ss mesh, ss rope with an ekwool sleeve. I currently have a ss mesh and ss rope combo

Would cotton wrapped in ss mesh do the trick?

never tried ss mesh with a cotton core. But I've done ss mesh wrap with eco wool.

The problem I run into is that cotton doesn't wick as fast as ss mesh or rope. Cotton holds a lot more juice but doesn't wick fast enough.

If you have ss mesh try a ss mesh only setup. Or get some 5/64 ss rope at kidney puncher and wrap it with either oxidized ss mesh or eco wool.
