I know we already have plenty of great reasons to quit smoking analogs. However, since I quit smoking and started vaping, I've often remembered something a close friend said to me when he decided to quit smoking. Another excellent reason to quit smoking analogs...

I'M TIRED OF PAYING tobacco COMPANIES TO KILL ME!!!

In all my years of smoking, no anti smoking message, billboard or campaign had ever cut to the bone like this one powerful sentence! Suddenly the 'light bulb' went on in my head. "Damn It! Those SOB's are killing me and I'm paying them to do it!!!"

That was the turning point for me. It was at that moment that I decided to quit. It wasn't easy kicking a 30+ year habit. My first few attempts, although not successful, were stepping stones in the right direction. I tried gums, patches and pills. Nothing worked. But the first time I tried an e-cig, I knew I had finally found my way to quit analogs. E-cigs helped me quit a 30+ year smoking habit in two days! I haven't touched an analog since then and have absolutely no desire for one. Why would I? As far as I'm concerned, that one short sentence sums it all up. In fact, I think it's worth repeating...

I'M TIRED OF PAYING tobacco COMPANIES TO KILL ME!!!

Any thoughts?

I read a wise sentence (here?) once and it's the one i get most success of with collegeues(?): count what you put up in smoke, seriously, count it for a week, a month, and a year...

Immediatly successfull, but make sure they sit down first. Had one that smoked a small car a year (+- € 6000), yeah so much... He's checking the stores now so I have to make an order. And he tought he was on low budged, hope he saves more now

Believe me just wait till the Feds ( Govt) steps into the vaping industry, Big Pharma/ Tobacco and them are going to ruin the great thing we have had since 2007-8 and tax the piss out of it and regulate it until there making what they did with tobacco, and there taking there good old time figuring out just how to put the process into effect so they get exactly what they want too, some should be careful for what they have asked for with this regulation in my opinion, it's going to ruin it for all of us possibly. Thank Gawd for my huge deep freezer and all the jugs of 100 proof Nic in there :) they aint getN it :)

good way of looking at things! When I quit smoking and went to vaping full time, I told myself "I'm not QUITTING....I'm escaping....escaping with my life!" "quitting" implied, in my brain, that I was giving something up that was of value or depriving myself. In reality, cigarettes deprived ME of life for a long time....I simply took back my life.

Thanks Jessica. Yours is a good way to look at things too. Escaping the clutches of that deadly, dreadful, expensive habit and reclaiming your life as yours!! Never look back. Good luck and Happy Vaping.

I think this is a full step to becoming a true non smoker.

Blame the Tobacco companies!

I am in my early stages of quitting and am still blaming parents/governments/genes and "conspiracy theories" as smokers do lol

If you couldnt get it then it couldnt kill you and it wouldnt cost you anything!

Den

I'm not necessarily blaming Big Tobacco. But I do think it's wise to stop paying them to kill me. We're all adults here and nobody put a gun to our head and forced us to smoke analogs. It's easy to blame BT especially when their only concern is profit. But the truth is that I'm responsible for all the analogs I chose to smoke in the past. Nobody else is to blame.
