I've been perusing these forums for the last few days since my wife brought home a BlueCig and a Smoke Everywhere Gold cig last week from a friend who is now pregnant and has quit the nicotine habit entirely. Both kinda sucked (no pun intended) so I started looking at what else was available.

I was set on the Joye 510 until I watched a video by TitanFlyer yesterday (Evolution of My Revolution.) A few videos and a cartomizer explanation later and I put my order through at about 11:00pm last night.

I've been smoking for about 12 years, even quit for over a year once with my wife but it didn't last because we 'enjoy' smoking. More that we like the oral fixation / something to do that I hope these will fulfill.

I picked up the Ultimate Ultimatum and a few extra packs of carts (mint & cappuccino.) I don't know how long shipping usually takes to get from Illinois to Oregon, but I really can't wait to drop the analogs.

Thanks everyone for their comments on V4L and the VK model, it sincerely helped me feel comfortable making the purchase.

I'm in California and it takes 2 to 3 days, they ship priority mail and if the post office is doing their thing correctly, you should be in business shortly.

That wait is terrible, once you make up your mind to try it, I was antsy as could be, but once you get it you will be so happy. Congrats on taking the plunge to vaping, I would never go back. It took me a month to give them up completely. If I can do it, anyone can do it. I was so addicted to tobacco.

Welcome and congrats! You will love it! VK rocks! Did you get the auto or manual batteries? And I am guessing probably 3 days is about right... ;)

I assume the batteries are auto, since there's a separate ultimate ultimatum manual package. I didn't really know what I should get, and I figured that once I try the flavors I've ordered that I'll be placing another order soon after and a single manual battery is only $17.50 and I can pick one up then.

Once you've got the initial setup, additional batteries and carts are pretty inexpensive. I just don't know if I should buy some juice or not bother with it at all, it depends on how long a cart lasts me (I smoke Marlboro Lights, and only about a third of a pack a day.)

I figured that down the road I'll order carts/juice with less and less nicotine until I'm not longer nicotine dependent, then just vape for the joy of it :D

You will be pleased, I am certain. Shipping took two days to AZ, so I'm betting on three to OR. Anybody wanna start a pool? ;)

According to the shipping calculator on USPS.com, it should take 2 days from their zip code to mine. Guess it'll depend on when it ships. I ordered last night, not sure how long items typically take to ship.

Welcome Sirch :)

I know just how you feel. I was the same; researching, anxious to try, wanting to get rid of the poisons in analogs...

I'm one of the newer ones here and I can tell you this - after smoking on and off for decades I have not yet even wanted a single cig. Granted it's only been 4 days but I can't see any reason to go back now. I'm just too fascinated with my PV and all the goodies that go with it, learning how to use it, saving up to buy new flavors, reading things here.

I can tell you this though, the pass through is like crack! My vaping breaks at work are just hold overs till I can get home and attach myself to my computer and vape away on that thing. *snicker*

Welcome to the healthier side of oral fixations! ;)
