First off let me say Hy to everyone! and Yes you have a new Noob in town.. lol and everyone says this is the place to come and learn from the Masters about vaping. Well I jumped on the pv wagon about a month ago and haven't looked back. I'm a tech junkie and love modz of anything and everything so I'm sure to have fun with the many pv mods.

With that said lets move on to the questions... lol.. Anyway after the wife saw my first pv and tried it out she had to have one for herself. She came home with a Modern Vapor Sidesho... cute little kit... with her pink carts... and the PCC that looks like a pack of smokes. I must say I was not impressed with the carts so I went online and ordered some cartos for it... very expensive from ModernVapor imho... anyway it made things much better... lol. My question is .. what aftermarket cartos will fit the Sidesho... I have not been able to find any info on the fittings for the Sidesho. Can someone help with this ? Thank you for your help and as always... Keep on vaping!

Those are a place to start, but that's all they are. There is no sense buying replacement anything for them.
Get an eGo or Riva starter kit, and a box of Boge LR Cartomizers. Boge cartos run about $7.25 for a box of 5.
At about a buck and a half each, it's no big deal if you ruin a couple of them while you learn how to use them.
The atomizers that come in the kit cost about $8 each, so save those until later.

Welcome HyperX. You said that you ordered cartos and things are much better. What thread type did you order (510, 901, 401 808 etc)? I'm not sure what you mean by "I have not been able to find any info on the fittings for the Sidesho." By "fittings" do you mean thread type? I'm assuming that you know the thread type since you already bought cartos and they are working for her. Can you explain?

Good to have a new neighbor in the forum...I cant help with that particular question, but I can say that after buying over 30 mods and trying just about every vaping experience that is available....That an Ego or Kgo kit would be a good improvement over certain other vaping devices...egos and kgos also come in cute colors if desired, but they vape well, with a dual coil cartomizer the experience is as good as any vaping experience there is. Even with almost every cool mod in my collection, see them in my profile if you like, I still pull out my ego for a quick car trip, or if I am in the casino...etc...check it out before spending bunches of cash on all the cool devices...like I did..lol

I sure if I find this out I can find cartos from another vendor cheaper.... Thanks again !!

And yes... once the wife is fed up with the sidesho I will get her something better... but that was her choice.... Not gonna touch that one... quiet wife.... quiet life.....

Maybe you could call or email the vendor she got it from and ask if they know the tread type. Without knowing that you are stuck buying their cartos. Not good.

This thread says 510 threading in post 9 and then post 11 says not 510. I don't know which one is correct.

Another thing you could do to help us help you is to take a picture of the threaded end on the cartos you bought and a picture of the threaded end of the battery. That would at least give us a clue.

Well I took some pics... lets see if I can get them on here... lol... Hope this works and helps...

Thanks for all your help on this!!!

I can understand....but if the current set up does not keep her quiet.....
my main suggestion would be to get her past the fact that it needs to look like a real cig.
That set up, usually does not satisfy.
    But it's a start.
Glad to have you and hope the suggestions help you.

Well I guess we will never know what thread this is... lol... I asked the local vendor where the wife purchased it and they know less than I do about vaping... hmmm .... we are all ready having problems with the charger and batts with this pv so I moved her to one of my Riva's... She is happy again.... thats all that matters.

Thanks to all that have responded to my cry for help... Vape on !

Oh Yea... My Provari came in last night! WOOT!! what a freakin awesome mod!!!!

Not sure how many you like to buy at a time, but I found a great deal on the Boge LR cartos. If you go to Vapor Kings and order 10 boxes, they give you a bulk rate of $6 a box. Then use the code VKBC for 10% off. The discount covers their priority mail shipping and then some.
