Hello. I have been happily vaping on my sidesho for 6 days now. And I love it. I owe a *huge* thanks to everyone on this forum. I read for days (literally) on here, and got such a wealth of information. Thank you guys.
First let me say, that I am very happy with my product from modernvapor.com
. And even more so, with the custom service from modernvapor. Tony has responded to all 4 of my emails within 10 minutes, regardless of the time of day/night. I told him about my automatic battery and he offered to replace it immediately. I just wanted to make sure there is actually something wrong with this bat before I go and send it back for another one.
The Problem: My battery doesn't seem to like to "stay on". When I take a drag the LED will come on, only to fade after a couple seconds, and then, usually it will come right back on, all in one drag. It does this more often than not. I have gotten nice long drags (about 5 seconds) with the light staying on the whole time, but I have to drag harder (to the point of hearing an audible suction sound) for that result. Everything I've read about the sidesho says that long, smooth (soft) drags are best and will activate the battery, as it is very sensitive. In the beginning I only did soft drags, because I didn't want to desensitize the bat or get any juice in my mouth. If I try a slow drag, the LED will *for sure* fade out on me after 1-2 seconds, and only come back on if I increase pressure in my drag (to the point of hearing the "sucking" sound). Even on fairly hard drags the LED will, most of the time, fade on me, only to come back on if I continue to pull on the e-cig. I'd say that on average about 1 in 6 pulls results in the LED coming on and staying on until I stop sucking. Is this a faulty battery? Is there anything I can do to help/fix the problem?
My girlfriend loved my sidesho so much that she just ordered one from modernvapor.com, so I plan on waiting for hers to come in the mail and test my auto-battery against hers, and then make my final decision. I figured I would get advice from the pro's in the meantime. Thanks ahead of time for any advice/info as it is greatly appreciated.

PS I plan on writing an 'in-depth' review after I've vaped on the sidesho for a few solid weeks. I may throw up a video on youtube as well, as I've only been able to find 2 videos exclusive to the sidesho. Besides the automatic battery issue, I have nothing but good things to say about the product and company. Again, I don't fault the company at all for this issue as Tony has been very courteous and offered a replacement at my convenience, should I want one.
