I surrender.

I have tried it all. I took just the V2 unit with me on our drive to Lake Geneva yesterday and just hit the button to break it in (just the unit; not batteries or attys).

Once home, MlrMan took some dielectric grease too all contacts and even took the switch apart. It fired right up! I was soooo happy and excited!
Switched over to the 510 to see and BAM! Just as nice! Then it blew the 510 atty. Then another 510. OK; one of those wasn't doing so well on the 510 battery anyway, so it was just a matter of time. But man, did it have to take a new one? LOL

Back to the BE112, which I really do love on there...and it once again it started acting up again. At first, it would take a few switch hits to fire up...and as time grew, so did the time between hits.

Since they only have 7 days for complete refund on starter kits, and I'm on day 5, I've finally had to concede defeat and filled out a ticket.

With all the amazing (albeit, I was warned, too LOL) reviews, I guess our karmas just don't mesh.

I've noticed some amazing developments in regards to upping the juice amounts in 510 carts, so maybe I'll have to start playing around with that and concider my PCC my best friend ;) LOL

Hey GML & Thomas - still liking your pump? I got one on Saturday, but haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet....

Sorry to hear your problems with the V2. Mine has been shipped, so will see how I fare. I blew a few attys early with my V1, but they now last about a month each (901). My V2 is coming with the BE112/801

I really enjoyed the BE112 on it. Gave great throat hit and best of all, when you screw it on the adaptor, it stops; none of this 'snug it then give it a quarter turn" stuff.

I am pretty sad about it returning it. I sent the ticket in yesterday and figured I'd keep at it until I heard back from Casey. So far today, the amount of dead hits are becoming fewer, but with only 7 days to return it if there's an issue, I had to make a call
I may have smaller battery life on a standard 510 battery, but I at least know it's heating up when I hit it....

I even bought a bigger purse so I could carry it with me  OK; I would have bought the purse regardless, but still..........lol

I gotta jump in and say my 808 is by far the best purchase I've made in gear. It's so simple to use, and as convenient as they come. I have been using the same cartos I bought 3 months ago, and it's still going good. The battery life is a little shorter per charge, but overall, it's serving me well.

I can't say it's providing huge plumes of vapor, but it's "good enough" and it's leaving me some extra money to buy some cheap used games for my PS2,,, lol.

When Dad was so sick at the end, I spent a lot of time in health care facilities, and could easily sneak off to the bathroom for a few nice stealth vapes. shhhhh,,,, ;)

It's so sad to see a vaper and gear not mesh well :( and you had such high hopes for the V2.

Now, the Woody from nhaler.com looks fab......maybe a new toy to get you over your disappointment with the V2? Then you could show it off :)

Yeah; I'm really sooper-dooper alley-ooper bummed about it. When it worked, it worked very very good...extremely, fantastically, husbandly-replacemently good. But when it didn't, :-x.
I just wish I could figure out what it's problem is. Unless some of these units are really just hit or miss and if that's the case, I just can't live with that.

Loving the look of the Woody. I think I'm just going to admire that one from afar for a while.....and drool. Luckily, #1 (forgot it's name) is my favorite and darn; they are out of those! LOL

As always, you are exactly right on all points, Harmony!

In all actuality, the 808 is the bomb! long battery life, great cart life, easy to refill, easy to transport cartos with no worry of leaking, great PCC charge time and all over compact size.
It's the one I ended up getting my friend for her birthday and it was perfect for her 'cause she can't get a mouthful of juice on it & the cart lasts her entire hour+ drive to work. And if it doesn't; it's not hard at all top pop a new one on there.

I have discovered two flaws, for me, with the 808
1)I love flat/whistle tips.
Combine years of analogs with my earth years, and anything I can do to slow down those tell-tale smokers lines around my mouth is a plus.

2) I can't seem to get that "new cart" feel when I refill the cartos. I LOVE the condom refill method! Does that rock or what!! But, even when I do that & the spin after refilling them, they just don't feel as tight and meaty as a freshly popped from the blister tab new carto.

I always carry a fully loaded 808 PCC & a complete stick in a metal cigar tube in my purse and that's what I call my "demo pack". It's totally idiot proof, so it's the perfect one to demonstrate to someone who is asking about vaping.

I'm sure if it was my one and only PV in the house, or if I went on a long drive, I would and could develop a stronger dependency on them than I do the 510 (hey! did I ever tell ya'll I love the 510???), but I guess I just haven't had to depend on them enough to develop that kind of relationship.
Going to be spending the next two weekends down in Chicago. Maybe that would be a good time to work on that relationship......

I did get one of those JCreek pumps based on GML loving it. That's quite a cute little unit! Strange not having drops (it streams), but it's something that will hopefully help clear out some of the bottles I have laying around the house LOL

With the Prodigy I thought you were looking for HI-VOLTAGE. Hi-Volts gave you that great sensation, while it lasted. So why haven't you considered the Big Chuck (actually a little more volts then the Prod)? With any of these I am led to believe that if you can't afford to 'fry' attys you should only consider Hi-Voltage atomizers.

I don't buy into the myth of hi-volt attys (ok, I just haven't tried them yet :D) I made the 510 on my Prodigy last 6 weeks (then fried it on the 6v chuck...sigh)

I'm still so up in the air on the 6v models...another learning curve, and this one's just got me by the short hairs in terms of frustration. I continue to lean to the 5v prodigy...6v I keep getting burned tastes on the 510's, and can keep an 801 atty alive for about 2 weeks of intermittent vaping :(

The worst part? I can't unload the Chuck in a sale, because it's personalized..who's gonna want the Vicks model if they're not Vicks? Well, that, and it was a gift.

You kidding me? The chance to own Vick's Witch Stick?
Oh honey; I bet there are plenty out there who would jump at the chance!!
After all, who own's Spikey's infamous kissbox? ;)

But, before you even concider selling, think back to how long it took you to get on the back side of the hill on your Prodigy. That was a love/hate relationship for a while before it finally pushed the Stick back in the line up......

As for theHV attys: don't they basically bring the hits back down to a feel of a 3.7v? I know from the name, I got the impression it would handle the HVs better, therefore last longer, but from the responses, that might be the case, but with a cost.......so why have the HV? LOL

Right now, I think I'm just doubly frustrated. I've been working on DIY mixes, and had one batch (just a little one, mind you!) of blueberry cheesecake that I mixed myself that I loved.....and now I can't duplicate it:-x

Tinkered with a couple of other things to drop the nic content yet boost the TH - none of 'em are working.

Did a couple of days of higher nic content then I'm used to because I got a massive TH off some med strength strawberry I got from DIY Flavorshack that I LOVED! for the hit alone.

Went through a couple of pretty rough days because I got some bad 510 attys that DON'T perform, and right now, can't afford to replace the TW one I had that I LOVED LOVED LOVED....which is why the Chuck is right now on my personal @#$%^$^#$#$%^ list.

Right now, I've forced myself back to the Prodigy and the 6mg cola (which was my mainstay for 5 or so months) so I'm feeling a bit more like myself. I just HATE to toss liquid (gotta dump my experiments)

Sheesh....I'm whiney today....guess it's just 'one o them times.....'

Well, after using the V2 for more than 24 hours I'm not happy with it. The BE112 atty died within the first 2 hours, but it works with one of my 801's just fine. My problems with it are the extremely hard push on the button and the smaller dia of the button. It actually hurts my hands to use it. It's not anywhere nearly as comfortable to use as the V1.

Mine may be going back as well.

Glad I resisted........I'm turning more and more toward an Iolite next, simply because then I don't have to mess with either attys or batteries......just a bit of butane. It hits like a mac truck, too (I got to try Jukie's in St. Louis) with very little nic in solution. Might be my way to nic freedom.

I received my return authorization today from Casey for the V2. I sure wish they still offered the V1. IMHO it was a far better unit.

{{{ Yknot }}}
I feel your pain. I did finally send it back last week & they got it last Thursday (I never ship without a delivery confirmation). While waiting for the authorization, of course - it started working wonderfully - basically LOL

I did have to keep taking the switch out & apart & that seems to start making contact & the twisting of the button was working too. Then just as quickly as it suddenly started working....it died completely......
Even MlrMan was sad to see it go. Still odd to me how he seemed to appreciate that little tube......

But, now I'm hooked. 5Vs was awesome! Especially during those times you just need a little more 'oompf'. So, I'm shopping for another 5V if anyone has recommendations.

And speaking of new toys - I ordered some 'drip tips' last week. I think they should be here today. I'm not really a dripper, but I like the concept of them & the rave reviews, so, maybe I will become one! ;)

Time for new toy of the month!! :D

I got my Cloud Stompbox 5V from Clouds of Vapor last week.

The main reason I got it without thinking about it is 1) someone who's opion I value posted she used & love it & 2) it has an on/off switch! How cool is that! No more worries that it's going to be set off accidentally in my purse!

So far, it's everything you expect from a 5V. Been using it on some old 510 attys I had that weren't doing it on a 510/eGo battery, and they have been brought back to life on this thing.

I love 5V with an 801, so I bought an 801 to 510 adapters. What do you know - I guess I popped those 801s on that V2 I had :(
So, I ordered a couple new ones and they should be here tomorrow.

The only thing that's hard to get use to is the leaks! Driving me nutso! I switched over to a drip tip & that seems to be helping, but I guess that will just be a learning curve I have to work myself through when I get the BE112 atty.

eGo is still my A#1 fave. Been using Kristin's PTB method for a month now and LOVE IT!

That's all the newness going on in my life right now.

And so the learning curve begins anew. If ever you wanna feel like a complete noob again, just buy new gear :D

I'm sure I'll be whining soon over the new Fistpack I got coming (moment of weakness purchase) once it gets here and I'm over the 'new gear' excitement. Let's hope I take to this better than I took to the chuck, eh?

Let us know how you work in your juicebox, KC - congrats on you new bouncing baby PV!

OOps! I may have miss spoke - juicebox is the "all in one" unit that feeds the juice too, right?
Mine doesn't do that. It's about twice as wide as the JStick & about the same thickness. Just a lil 5V that carries 2 batteries (can't remember the name, but it's a little thicker than a standard AA).

I totally agree with the 'newbie' statement! Funny how we feel invincible, then get something new & become bumbling idiots again! LOL

And for the amount of time you've been drooling over the Fistpack, I'd never call that an impulse purchase on your part! Maybe "impulse timing", but definately not an impulse purchase! I can't wait to see it!
I read there might be an ever so slight delay on them. Do you have an ETA yet?
