Hello everyone! I perused this forum for a month and finally decided to post. I smoked for 21 years and quit analog's , well it will be a month on the 23rd. I was introduced to the ecig by a friend of mine and rushed home to buy it - the same one he had (Cig2o). I have not picked up a analog since. I actually went to smell a pack 4 days into vaping and just about got sick with the smell! I bought the kit from vapage.com a supplier of cig2o products. After doing a bunch of searching on here - WHOA!!! theres sooo much information - but I figured out the cig2o battery I have is a KR808 - d1 or something like that. My kit came with a charger and 2 batteries regular size and 5 carts filled with their nasty flavor ha. I actually got two kits for the price of one because they had problems with my initial order and shipping. SO with that said.....

I really enjoy my set up with my cig2o battery and I now get my favorite juices and empty carts and fill them. Now that I have a little more knowledge I have some questions and if anyone can help that would be great. I am looking for a KR808 battery with a longer working span - the ones I have now only are good for a couple hours if that and then I have to recharge - luckily I have the vapor kings pass through on my coputer so I dont have to recharge while at home. What I am concerned about is having a battery when I am not at home that will work all day. I also bought a large kr808 battery from vapor 4 life that lasts all day but I am not getting a good TH because it cuts off for some reason whereas the cig2o original battery lets me inhale for as long as I want without cutting off. I am also using vapor 4 lifes wow premium carts that I fill with their juice.

My cig2o battery (KR808) is white and has the little grip strips I guess you call them. Does anyone know where i can find the same type of battery that lasts longer and wont cut off when I am taking a drag? I also noticed the cig2o cartomizers are just slightly larger than the vapor 4 life premium wow carts and I have been able to refill them over and over - okay - so without rambling anymore I am loking for vendors I can go to to buy the following:

1) a battery like the actual cig2o (dont care about color) that will last all day and not cut off when I am vaping in
2) cartomizers the same size as cig2o - just a hair bigger than v4lifes carts.

I prefer a warmer vape in case that helps.....thanks for your suggestions and I am happy to be a newbie on the forum! ;)

WoW! You're SO much more advanced than I am - but I'm 5-months without an analogue with no desire!

I'm a real "newbie" around here too. :)

I've heard all kinds of advice about this or that brand, but for me I think it will come down to flavor.

I started with N-Joy and really like the "sweet-ish" flavor, which I'll try to keep using.

Last week I picked up - on a lark - a brand called "21st Century Smoke" because the cartomizers are cheaper, but the flavor is bad. Now just today I discovered that the Blu cartomizers fit the battery for the 21st Century smoke (but they don't fit the N-Joy batt).

I'm not sold on the flavor of Blu I have (trad. tobacco), but Blu cartomizers are cheaper than N-Joy, and I'm hoping the Vanilla will be better for me.

It's a WHOLE new world for all of us - EX-smokers!

I still can't quite believe that I don't smoke...

Welcome to the forum!

Do you have manual or automatic batteries? If it's an automatic battery, they do have a cut-off. I'm not sure how long- 5-10 seconds maybe.

Unfortunately, that's one of the trade-offs with the smaller, cig style pvs. You can get more battery life with a big battery model if you want that. Sorry I can't be more help, but congrats on quitting analogs!

Um, with the 808, there really isn't much of a difference in vapour production whether you go with a manual battery or an auto battery. The draw is easier with a manual battery, but that's about it. The manual battery is also sealed and less susceptible to death by water or liquid spills.

You get limited battery life with the cigarette-sized PVs. There is a 105mm battery for the 808 that'll give you one more hour of vaping time, however.

You might be interested in getting a PCC for your 808. The large XL 808 PCC is the only PCC large enough for the 105mm batteries. You can give your batteries a couple of extra charges with the PCC.

As for the cutoff, you can stop inhaling mid-vape and then continue to get around the 5-second cutoff.

If you want something with much better battery life, then you might consider an Ego or a Riva. They're about the size of a small Sharpie marker. The Ego is actually a little cooler than the 808 or Riva, but you can look into low-resistance cartomizers for more vapour and flavour. The battery life ranges from 650 mAh to 1100 mAh depending on your kit. The cutoff is 10 seconds.

THats great you made it 5 months! The first few days were the hardest for me but I just kept vaping and vaping - then it got exciting when I found out I could get flavors....yummy! I love vapor 4 lifes 555 tobacco flavor - its a sweeter type but to me its awesome...although I have only tried a dozen or so. Their white chocolate and chocolate banana is pretty awesome too if you like flavors. Well - we can both welcome ourselves to the world of no more smoking! woo hoo - along with all the others on here! thanks for your reply - enjoy vaping!

No, the manuals have the same cutoff as the autos. The vape is the same, too. The draw is easier with manuals. And it's harder to accidentally kill the manual batts.

I find 5-seconds on an 808 is enough to make me cough, but you can work around the cutoff by letting go of the button (manual) or stopping your inhale mid-vape and then starting up again to get more vapour into your lungs.

That stuff about the vape on a manual being better may be true for Joye 510, but 808s are pretty consistent auto or manual.

The carts are intended to fill only once. However, if you keep them wet, i.e. top them off with juice periodically before you vape them dry, you can make them last a while. If you burn the filler from vaping them dry you'll never get the burnt taste out.

Those cartos can hold up to 35 drops of juice. When you're filling them, you can drip down the side, away from the center hole and then shake the carto like you would a thermometer to work that juice down to the bottom of the carto. When the top looks "slushy" and the carto stops soaking up juice, you're done.
