Another newbie here

Hi everyone.
I just found out about ecigs a few days ago due to that BBC video showing them being used in a pub. From there a did a bit of searching and found this forum. What a great resource this is. Dustin's videos are excellent, and gave me the knowledge I needed about where to start.

Anyhow I've ordered a black DSE901 from the electronic cigarette company here in the UK, and I've had despatch confirmation so it should be with me in a couple of days.

I can't wait. I'm currently a 20 a day smoker, so if I can use this instead it'll make me much happier.

I've just got the starter kit coming first, but if I get on with that fine I'll be spending more money on carts, spares and liquid. Plenty of flavours to try too I notice. This could get expensive.

hey badseed, welcome to the forums.

Seems you got the right attittude, great model to get first time round and from a great supplier too.

you sure will need some spares ( at least 1 atomizer and a battery ) sometimes it's easier just to get a second starter kit.

Pillbox38 is the username here of the guy that owns/runs The Electronic Cigarette Company (UK) Ltd. - SHOP - he's usually lerking in these forums somewhere.

What can I say but WOW!. This thing is amazing. This really feels like I'm smoking a cigarette, but without all the nasty stuff associated with that.

I only received the DSE109b today (ordered on Friday, despatched on Sunday!, delivered on Tuesday, can't complain at that at all. Excellent turnaround from pillbox.)

I got through the medium strength cart at home and then I went down my local pub with one of the high strength ones in. The bar staff were fine with me toking it in there after I showed them what it was, and a load of folk I knew there had a go. Some liked it more than others, but being able to puff away in the pub went down great with plenty people asking me where to get one. Hopefully there shouldn't be a problem with them putting pillbox's sticker there either. They have been hurt big style since the smoking ban.

Anyhow, I'm loving the smoke on this DSE109b. The carts are maybe a little too sweet for me, but there's so much vapour. This feels like I'm smoking a real cigarette. I can't rate this highly enough.

If the normal cartridges are too sweet for you, try some of Pillbox's Cigar or Virginia juice. Both flavors tend to be more bitter than the standard or marlboro tobacco flavors!

I just ordered 50 carts and another atomizer. When I get paid at the end of the month I'll look into the liquid for refilling them, so thanks for the suggestions.

Welcome to the forum BadSeed. I`ve been vaping for about 4 weeks now and haven`t touched a `hot` ... since so there`s nothing but praise from me. I know what you mean about it being expensive at first but thats only initial outlay. Great choice with the 901 though , I started with the supermini to mix in with my smoking mates on a night out but the black 901 will be my next purchase. I also ordered a couple more batteries with a charger and a couple of spare atomisers. Once done your set for a while. Be warned though once you get the bug , you`ll want to try everything going! .
This forum is great for all information concerning e-cigs...keep reading the posts and you can`t go wrong. Enjoy your cig when it arrives.
