Another newbie just found the place

Hi all,

'Bout a month ago during a vacation in France too see my family, I got a gift.
My cousins gave me a starter kit. Since I like gadgets I was happy and a gadget with nicotine can't be that bad right? lol
I am or should I say I was (!) a Marboro smoker for 35 years, And I must add I had no intention whatsoever to quit smoking although the negative effect were starting to be felt on a daily basis.
Anyway. After a week I realized I've smoked only 15 cigarettes. WOW!. I was flabbergasted and I am still.
I figured I could try a full day without one. Why not right?
Well... I haven't smoked an analog since July 22 and man do I feel better!

Now my new problem is I can't stop vaping

Hi and welcome to the forum! I was the same as you, tried vaping to see what it was all about with no real intention to quit smoking. Now I've not had a cig in 5 weeks! I can't stop vaping either! Thinking about lowering my nic level so I can chain vape without getting dizzy [emoji4]

Yep, another "accidental vaper" here. After 53 yrs of smoking at 2+ PAD just knew I was gonna die with a pack in one hand and my lighter in the other. A coming trip to an extremely cold climate to visit non-smoking relatives made me curious. That's all it took just over a year ago.....I am now a "juice hog"; and besides myself, EVERYBODY around me is happy. I'm still dancing in the morning on the way to fix coffee.

Congratulations! Welcome to the forum, I've been here years but just created a new account..there is so much info here and so many helpful people...I quit within 3 months after finding my perfect setup and liquid...can't even believe I used to smoke, but am definitely addicted to vaping!

Welcome and congratulations! I was a 50 year pack a day smoker and I just stopped in a local vape shop to see what it was all about and walked out with a starter kit. Here I am 4 months later hooked on vaping and don't even think about cigarettes any more. Good luck, it only gets better from here on out!

I tried vaping too without the intention of quitting smoking, yet I've found myself smoking far less than I used too. However, I'm showing both my vapes no mercy, lol.
