Hey all,

So I got kicked down a Volcano Inferno starter kit. I have been meaning to quit since, well since I started pretty much. Patches never really worked for me and the pills just made the analogs taste like dirt but I still smoked them. I have been puffing away on this thing for 3 days now and it really destroys the cravings. I am actually very surprised. Along with the Inferno kit I was kicked down some ejuice as well. I have noticed the tankomizer had a habit of tasting like burnt plastic. Not knowing if it was the juice or a bad tank I researched it. I have decided to go the Tube Tank route and have ordered some replacement cartos to keep me vaping.

I also cruised the internet up and down for good juice since there is nowhere where I live that sells juice. I decided to order several samples from Viking Vapor, as well as 30ml of blueberry because I had some blueberry juice that came with the Inferno and I pretty much destroyed it. Did the research on the PG vs VG and decided to order all the juices with a 80pg/20vg ratio. The cartos I will be using in the tube tank are the 1.5 ohms.

I love this forum and all the information on it and I intend to continue checking it all out. If anyone has any tips and tricks that might save me some grief, or help me out then send them my way. Thank you!

Welcome to ECF, Count, and congratulations on your decision to give vaping a try! I'm fairly new to vaping myself and have had zero experience with the Inferno PVs but have read good things about them. IRRC it has a 510 thread connection, right? I also haven't used tanks or clear cartos... I'm using an E-Power 14650 with 510 threading, reg. to 3.7 volts, 1050mah batteries (I think). So far my favorite setup for out & about are the Resurrector 1.7 ohm cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping or the BOGE LR 2.0 ohm. For sitting around the house I love dripping on good 306 LR attys but my experience on these is limited to IkenVape's io6, and he's out of stock so I need to order some Cisco (great reviews, I haven't tried 'em yet). Even if you don't care for dripping I'd get at least one atty for that purpose just to try out new juices; that way you can test them before you load one into a carto or tank. With a little practice you might find you enjoy dripping as much as I do! :D

Best of luck & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Thank you much! Yeah it has a 510 connect as far as I can tell from the eresearch I have done. I have noticed BOGE some up a lot with always favorable reviews so I will have to look into them. As for my inferno I am pretty happy with it but I am definitely not going to continue with the tankomizer. I have been reading a lot about dripping and I am definitely going to give it a try. From what I have read it seems to be the way to get the most flavor out of the juice. :)

There ya go! Shows you how much I know. lol

I do have a question and maybe someone can help me out with it. Can someone either answer or direct me to a thread with the answer. I have searched around but have yet to find it. The Volcano Tube Tank Cartomizers. Is it good to just use one until it is done and then replace it, or is it good to use one for a day or two and then switch it up?

The cartos should last about a week just using it up. Switching it up like switching flavors with the same carto will make the flavor gross but it happens. It will take a while to find flavors you really like. People solve the switching issue with multiple tanks. For the other thing I dont even know what he was asking I just guessed

Sorry I should have been more specific. I think I will be getting extra tanks as I discover flavors. What I really meant was are there tips to extend the life of the carto. I read somewhere where someone suggested to use a carto for a day, then remove it and use another. Switching the actual carto each day, in order to give it a break. This didn't really sound right to me but I am new so I wanted to ask. Is this legit?

That

If you're using cartos by themselves that will help. Cartos in the tank it doesn't matter too much the tank prolongs the life of the carto just by how it works. I think those tanks have the prepunched dual coil cartos right? With that carto just how it comes will work pretty universally. Later on you can punch your own cartos to save a little money in the long run and you may find for thicker juices adding a second punch will help it wick better/ last longer. Most of my experience is with boge cartos and those always need two punches because the filler is wrapped super tight. youre welcome vapourmonkey

For me its just not worth it but another way to save money. 80/20 one punch will always work.

I am kind of thinking the same, I probably would do it if they were more expensive. Of course I say that now, when I am in the field far away from civilization I am sure I will be cleaning the crap out of them lol.

Hi all. I'm new to vaping and new to the forum as well. I'm starting out with a Totally Wicked 510 Titan Tank and 36mg Ice Menthol juice. Haven't had an analog in 4 days, and I don't miss them one bit. I was a pretty heavy smoker, so the 36mg has worked out well for me with no ill effects - YMMV. The best part is I was spending around $40/week on cigs and as I have it worked out now, I'll probably only spend $40 in a whole month on vaping! And I can breath again!!!! So, welcome to the noobs like me, and good luck!

It has been about the same amount of time for me now as well. I am really starting to notice the analog stench! I was a pack a day smoker and it is amazing how much cheaper this is. After all the initial purchases the maintenance costs nothing next to smoking. I love it!
