I aGree with Chrissie. The elite 808 is still a slim ecig. The batteries alittle better, but it's still only 380mah I think. That will still need to be charged fairly frequently. Check out the kGo, riva, and Epower. Their all 3.7V PVs and have 510 connections which will give you many options for attys and cartos you could use. Many people also like the eGo, but I prefer the 3.7V PVs bc the eGos are only 3.3-3-4V. Any of them though would give you MUCH better battery life. The kGo has an 1100 mah battery and lasts a long time. I have an Epower which uses non-proprietary batteries and they are 1050mah. I get about a day to a day and a half on one battery. The Riva and eGo have different size battery's you can get. Any of these would be a lot better than the elite, give a much better vape and alot longer battery life. Plus their the same price if not cheaper than the elite.
Also with a bigger battery PV you will be able to use low resistance attys and cartos. LRs give a warmer vape and more TH, and most people prefer them. I use the 1.7ohm LR "Ressurector" cartos on my Epower and they give an awesome vape and hold over 2ml of juice so they last a long time. They work great on the Riva and kGo too. There are many other attys and cartos that are popular and work great too, that you could possibly use.
Slim ecigs can only use standard resistance attys and cartos

Welcome to ECF, oldgloria!

A rough calculation of vaping time is about 100mah per hour of vaping. If you want to be able to stay away from the charger long enough to go out of the house without carrying a bagful of spare batteries, then you need something in the 650mah range or higher. A 1000mah eGo batt can last 8 or ten hours easily.

We all thought we wanted something cigarette sized at first. We bought it, used it, and found that we needed more current capacity in our batteries to be able to use the really good options. Low resistance cartomizers and atomizers need a battery that can supply some power.

That's not to say that buying a small ecig is necessarily a bad idea. It gives you backup and something you can use here and there for various reasons. It's just that most of us have both and the little cig is in a box somewhere stored away. Once you use an eGo, Riva, Kgo, or one of the similar larger battery models, you will see the point of greater battery capacity.

Good luck in your search. Check out the ECF library for more info on various models, especially, "The Wonderful World of Vaping (all 6 parts)". The ECF Library
