CDC claims 445000 fatalities annually due to smoking. Regulate vaping out of existence. Keep piling up the bodies. Maintain the ban on e-cigs. Watch while the body count rises and our oh-so-concerned-about-our-health officials can take the front row right along with the Hitlers, Stalins, Maos, Idi Amins, Pol Pots of this world when it comes to tallying up the victims.

Littering is just littering. I saw a fat woman unwrap a handful of candies while sitting in a parking lot. Her front bumper was almost touching the trash can that was placed on the curb. Where did her wrappers go? Out the window. Heaven forbid she burn half a calorie and take the four to five steps needed to dispose of her waste properly. We should be more responsible since a dumb animal could possibly kill itself on our waste. Anyway, littering ticks me off period. People still do it like it's nothing which shows me the fines aren't severe enough. Anyone littering should spend time on community service picking up trash along the roadside.

This lady should not have thrown her trash out the window. Maybe she didn't want to get out and be seen by the weight poliece. Get a clue! You are just as rude as she is!

Not only must we think of the children, also the sheep!! won't SOMEONE! ANYONE! think of the sheep!?!

:glare:

Well, we don't have sheep in Canada, but we do have beavers and loons ... Maybe now I know why they've become so skittish the last few years

And no, I don't mean loony bin loons (though we have our fair share of those too), I mean the ones that fly

I was driving down 95 a few years ago and someone a few cars in front of me tossed a used diaper out their window hitting the windshield of the car directly in front of me..... Somehow the driver of that car did not crash.... not bad considering we were all traveling about 85mph. I did, however, turn in the license plate number of the car that flung the poop filled diaper from their window. My point is that anything tossed from a car window can be potentially hazardous. Just my :2c:

What is with people throwing ANYTHING on the ground?!
People throw cigarette butts on the ground like it's their right to do so.
Because it's small, it doesn't matter?
It's selfish, irresponsible, lazy and gross!
I didn't have an ashtray in my vehicle while I was a smoker. I always had some sort of receptacle to keep the butts in.
It should be a minimum $1000 fine for throwing a .... on the ground or out a window, because you know that person does it all the time.
If a pack a day smoker throws 1/2 of their butts on the ground, that's about 4000 butts per year for that one person.

Now that you've mentioned that, E-cigs are so popular and rather commonplace here now that it took someone to mention butts for me to realise how much cleaner the town centre looks without a thousand and one extinguised, trodden down cig butts on the ground.

Might as well move over here. I'm sure it will get crowded though. ;)

Aww, thank you. I'll be sure to keep my original gutter as a summer home for when this one gets crowded.
