"Meaningful"? I think I'm pretty lucky I live in an area where the "big" news consists of someone reporting a stolen bicycle, updates on a two-block sewer project (that one actually made the front page), and an elderly woman calling the police to report loud people in her neighborhood at 9 pm.
sigh......why you feel like it's ok to bash fat people is beyond me. I've seen plenty of skinny, selfish, judgmental people litter too!
Shame is a good motivator. If fat was cool despite the health implications we wouldn't even be having this discussion. I'm sure people with nutritional problems, that are really skinny as a result, get accused of being on a certain drug. Doesn't mean they're not skinny. I wasn't trying to bash her for her weight. That's her problem. But I'm not going to carry on as if a fat person sitting in a parking lot stuffing her face with individually wrapped candies wasn't what I saw.
