I'm ready. batteries and charger on their way. Registered at the site. Paypal account updated (haven't used it in years). Booked it with my wife to let me have 645-715 cdt free on tuesday night, which is a challenge with 4 kids and 3 great danes. So why am I still nervous I won't get a grand? I monitored last night's sale and it appeared all of the woodvils were gone in 30 minutes?! I don't want to wait any longer- my egos are dying!

Seriously, here's a question- are the grands pictured on the site now the ones that will be available tuesday night, or are those the ones from the previous sale? I want to go straight to the color I like best without hesitation.

...or am I being over-the-top with this?

I'm not 100% positive yet, but I find I like the reds and purples and blacks shown, and I don't care much for the shade of blue or green I see there. The tumbled raw looks pretty cool too. I guess in a perfect world I would probably choose a red/black or red/metallic color.

This leads me to another question- how are they colored-paint? Can they be customized? My wife is very talented with paints and detail work.

The colored mods are anodized. The tumbled would be your best choice if you want your wife to bling it out. (In my opinion)

Just curious. If you were to gravitate to the green, the pictures I feel show more of a minty green (at least on my PC). The are delivered huntery green. I have a black/green mini. Ah, it rocks!

I agree that some of the colors must be different than it looks like in the pictures. I just got a red/silver Mini and it's a much deeper almost maroon kind of red than the bright candy red I thought it would be. I love it, don't get me wrong, just sayin. Good luck gettin your dream Reo. Don't forget to save up for the precious backup, and a backup for the backup, and then another so they match and so on and so on, lol.

I have a Red and a Purple and the colors are much deeper/stronger than the pics on the website show. The mods are anodized aluminum. They have a very solid, quality feel in your hand. If you want your wife to customize one, you might search for ways to paint on anodized aluminum, good luck!! And if she does paint on it, please come back and show us pics.
