They probably carry the terrible and over-priced NV e-cigs.......non-nicotine pre-filled cartos and 510 (or 808) little batts.

I've met 2 people so far who bought them *cough* sorry....got ripped off by them.

Personally, I think the shiatty gas station e-cig is harmful to the profile of e-cigs in Canada because people buy them, realize how terrible and unsatisfying they are and get turned off e-cigs and tell other people about it.

I think it's just the opposite, Kill. There are definitely people who don't know any better and maybe will think that. But the majority of people these days use the internet for research and could find with a simple Google search that there are much better alternatives out there. We do get a lot of new people on here nowadays who say they bought a kit from a gas station, convenience store, or WalMart and then found the forum or other information on them and are wanting to upgrade.

I've got to admit that I picked up a disposable NV to see what it was like, as well. Vapour was decent, I suppose, but I have no baseline to really compare it to. Flavour was pretty ok, too, though with my mangled tastebuds, it's hard to say. No staying power at all, though, and the price was completely wrong. A lack of nic definitely hurts things, too.

Anyway, after taking an NV around the block a couple times, I found this forum and haven't looked back.

Soon as I've racked up a few more hours on my eGo (current assessment after 20 mins: AWESOME) I'll probably look back and see how much of a Pee Oh Ess the NV really was/is.

I wasn't suggesting that people didn't go the route you guys are saying you did. I think my point was that, those people that do try them and get turned off by them end up telling others about it.

Though I suppose, conversely, that people like you guys end up telling people the right things.......so perhaps it balances out ;-)

Oh, I didn't get the impression that you were. I can see how someone would get turned off by something like the NV very easily, and people spread bad word of mouth far more than they spread good. I would have given up my pursuit of a better e-cig if I hadn't watched a review of the NV kit suggesting there were far better alternatives.

I picked up an NV smoke disposible the other day just out of curiousity for ten bucks.

The batt is the same size as a 280MaH E9/Greencig batt (808-D2) and is compatible with their carto's, the draw trigger is well built and does not require a hoover vac to activate and is not sensitive to movment or noise, the draw hole is very small to help keep juice out of the switch, the battery life is normal for the size and although desposible it will take several charges or more if you avoid deep cycling it,

The Cartomizer is actually really good, it has almost double the capacity of a standard 510 carto and is able to provide a fairly thick, warm vape, the bottom is slotted on the outer ring to allow for an easy comfortable draw without being too airy and again, these will fit any 808-D2 battery.

The pre-filled nic free tobacco juice is awful and gave me a headache with a bad aftertaste similar to spoiled watermelon, washing this flavor out of the carto for re-use was difficult and took several tries.

The web-site has standard 808 comparible prices for starter kits and terribly bloated, almost comical, prices for cartomizer refills and accesories.

The hardware has potential but those awful tasting pre-filled nic free carto's selling for 4 bucks a piece and overpriced charging accesories are a deal breaker.
