Hello there.

To make this short my name is Romen and my origin is U.S.

I smoke cigarettes everyday and today I have bought my self an electronic cigarette to try. So far so good.

I joined to read and get information about these E-cigarettes and most importantly I would like to find out how good these are for our health. Might sound stupid but, we can never know. Hopefully I will find what I'm looking for on this site/forums for safe further E-cigarette smoking and not worrying about anything.

Welcome to the ECF. Because ecigs have been around for only a relatively short time, there is not a wealth of information regarding health effects. What we do know is that they are worlds better than smoking cigarettes and contain none of the carcinogens and toxic chemicals that make cigarettes so harmful. Check out the CASAA to read more about studies and findings.

My personal opinion is that the FDA and special interest groups have been trying diligently to vilify electronic cigarettes for three years now. That's a lot of money and power put to work, yet these groups have come up with nearly nothing new as far as adverse health effects of using ecigs. That's good enough for me.

vaping for mor me it is an immediate “safer” alternative to smoking. I have found it to be a way to adjust to physiological effects of quitting cigs along with goal to ultimately wean off the physical effects of the nicotine addiction. Good luck in your journey! We are all here to help.
