I'm really not sure what I should do. It looks like my most recent order may have been lost in the mail. Tracking is showing it passed through sort facility in OH on the 4th of this month. But that's it. Nothing after that.

Now, I've seen that happen before and the package still showed up in my mailbox on time. Obviously just behind updating the tracking on the site. No biggie. But this is just plain sucks!!!

I mean, I guess I don't NEED the new batt right away. Or the new pretty wrap for my 1300. But those clearos I DO NEED!!!

I use 100% VG liquids and they get gunked up pretty quick. I've tried cleaning them, but they are just not the same after or they don't work at all.

So I'm down to my last working clearo and my vaping budget doesn't re-up until Thursday. The Hubby is telling me I should contact SI about it, but I can't seem to make him understand that it is out of their hands. They've done their part. It's USPS that is screwed up at this point.

I tell ya, just thinkin about it is makin me wanna another smoke!! lol

Printing email now. Of course I have to wait til tomorrow to go to the post office. I am NOT looking forward to this.

To me, it kind of makes it worse that this kind of thing doesn't happen to me very often. USPS has been pretty great with tracking and delivery lately. Except for that one time a few weeks back that some juice I ordered took a nice 3 day vacation in Hawaii before I got it!! lol!!

Ok.....So weird!!!! I checked tracking again this morning and it still said it was in OH. After posting here and printing that email I decided to check again just for the heck of it.

It's in HOUSTON!!!

Yeah baby!! Not only will I have my clearos and new batt tomorrow, but I don't have to mess around with going to the post office!!!!!

:smokie:

OMG!! Am I glad it finally came through!! The funny thing is, now that I have a good manual battery, it may be that my clearos are gonna last a bit longer.

They were getting gunked up, hard to draw, and the flavor was muted. With the manual, all of that goes away!! They behave like a fresh clearo (without the primer taste of course!) lol

This makes me absolutely POSITIVE that I will very much enjoy the spinner when it comes out. Hmmmmm.....time to check over on that thread and see if an actual date has been posted heh heh heh

USPS continues to fail me. Over the last 2 months not one package has arrived on time (as estimated via tracking). 2 packages shipped as priority arrived 2 days late, one package during a crisis shipped as express (overnight) arrived a day late, and just now checked my box for an order I placed on Sun, estimated to arrive today, is not here. Sigh! SI please open a St. Louis store cause I cannot deal with post office anymore.

I try to avoid priority mail these days, they send it all over the map like a pinball. First class must have different distribution facilities because more than half the time, I will receive first class packages faster than priority and cheaper too! The thing is when you get free shipping with your order, you really don't get to choose how it's sent, sigh. First class with insurance is my first choice!

Ok here I am again. Placed an order (Valentine Sale) on Monday 11th, shipped out 12th. Tracking says 15th fine. Watched my package jump from New Phili, to Warrendale, PA; then 5 hours west of me Kansas City, KS (What???), Today its sat and just got my mail and no package. Now its stuck in Kansas City, MO, post office is closed on Monday so best case its tuesday. Total Epic Fcking Fail. What used to take 2 days to St. Louis now takes a week. I am so completely irritated and fed up with the post office. Wishing SI could add a UPS or Fedex option cause this is not working for me anymore.

USPS is just like any other business. You have some McDonald's that are run well, and some that aren't. The ones being run well are the rule and the ones being run poorly are the exception. It's just that people are more likely to complain when things go wrong, more than they are likely to praise when things go right. Which makes sense, because you pay for a service for things to be handled as they should be. The USPS in my area is outstanding and I've only had one problem with packages being delivered. And it was sorted out nicely. Ups is horrible in my area and I've only dealt with fed ex one time and the service was great. It was for an iPhone 5 delivery and the driver called my wife to ask where the safest place would be to leave them.

I think that's why I just had to complain when this one happened. It is so rare that I have a problem with USPS. Or FedEx or UPS for that matter.

I have the same argument with my Hubby all the time. He says that the USPS system is messed up and the others are better. I say, the system is fine. It's not that different from the others. It just depends on the PEOPLE using the system.

I didn't start having problems until I started ordering every other week, LOL

The libertarian side of me says the post office poor performance is the result of excess government control and melding. I think a private business that actually has to keep customers happy would perform much better. What incentive does anybody in the post office have to "do a good job or work harder"? Anyways...I could go on and on..

You are seeing this happen with more frequency because of less employee's and alot of the packages only get scanned a few stops instead of at EVERY one, most times it ends up in your hands around the time people start freaking out about it. Yes there has been a decline in the
postal services SERVICES and it is becoming noticeable. Sort times are hours later than they used to be and re routing the path it goes from one area to another have changed due to closings of different PO's/operation centers due to operation costs being in the red as we are hearing about.
