Another tobacco thread...

So my father in law just started vaping, and wants some good tobacco flavors. I've let him try my bobas and gorilla juice and he says they are too fruity for him. So I'm at a loss.

So here is my question. . What is your favorite tobacco flavor and where did you get it?

Oh, and another thing.. He has a crazy pg allergy, so vg only please

Also, first thing in the morning go to Welcome to Ahlusion and order a bottle of Smooth Criminal and Blue Grass Burley. That will give both you and your Father a great idea and a good head start in the search for a real tobacco liquid. And yes, you can get it in 100%VG!

I would disagree with the majority opinion here... NET's tend to be sweeter and less like a cigarette and more like chewing tobacco or fresh leaf... if you do go towards a net, you might want one with some of those roasted notes like an all VG Legend from HHV... or highbrow...

I would say to try the all VG version of Vaporstation's Tampa... it's the only all vg lab juice I know of... except ecopure

Try to get more info from him. Does he want a good tobacco flavor or a commercial cigarette flavor? Does he mind/want some sweetness or prefer a really dry tobacco experience? Aggressive or mild tobacco flavor?

For good tobacco flavor, the actual taste of a quality cigarette, cigar, or pipe tobacco he'll want to try NETs (natural/extracted tobacco). If he wants something that's more like a commercial cig he'll want to lean towards synthetic tobaccos. For an ashy, dirty cigarette taste TA (tobacco absolute) tobaccos may be it.

Eliquid does a better job at creating good tobacco flavor than they do commercial cig flavor, since cigs kind of rely on the taste of burning and additives. I've heard people say unflavored is the closest they got to a cig experience, and he could get 100% VG unflavored. For an ashy TA experience, Moondrop and Mom&Pops are known to do well with TA, though I don't know the vg ratios for those. For NETs, there's a couple options if he needs pg-free, and even more if 100% vg will be fine (difference being there may be some pg present in the flavorings used for 100% vg liquid).

those Goodejuice house brewed's are great, but they are unfortunately not available in 100% vg.

If he wants a really strong not the least bit sweet tobacco, Ahlusion's Devil Dog! won't disappoint. A lot of people consider it to be too strong, so keep that in mind.

Nope, the Dog only goes up to 50% vg.

Lol, yep GeJ NETs are all 50/50. I have no sensitivities to pg so not sure all the vg vendors, but off the top of my head HeathersHeavenlyVapes purity line and everything at VelvetCloudVapor is pg-free. MyVapeJuice has a vg-only line, but I think it's small. Ahlusion has 100% vg NETs, as do many other vendors, but not sure which are totally pg-free.

Good luck to him... One of the hardest parts of switching to vaping from cigarettes for me was coming to grips with the fact that you wont find a juice that tastes like a cigarette. For me NETs did the trick as I actually much prefer the taste of a quality NET to a cigarette.

Velvet Cloud Vapor specializes in 100%VG. They extract their own nicotine and flavoring from tobacco. Both Burley Beard and Blue Beard are fantastic liquids.

To be very honest you're not going to find liquid (at least I haven't) that really tastes like a cigarette.

He may prefer a synthetic tobacco then. Lasttango mentioned VaperStation's Tampa is all vg. AlienVision also has some tobaccos that taste more tobacco than Boba's. If he's feeling adventurous, Dark Horse and Huntsman from HHV are good pg-free NETs without the fruit or other flavors.

As long as he's trying new flavors he'll find something. My mom thought she wanted to mimic her cigs, but she found out quick she likes flavors. 555 from SmokelessImage really clicked with her, never would have guessed that.
