Via..Yours is the best
vaping testimonial I have ever read. I too believe vaping has saved my life! My son also introduced me to vaping...in a round about way. He ordered a starter kit on line to cut down on his own cigarette habit. When it came in, there were two starter kits and 2 bottles of juice. The company told him he was a "winner" and doubled his order. I knew nothing about e-cigs, had never even heard the world. I said to my son: What's this?
He explained and I said: Let me have one...please!!! 2 days later we stopped cigarettes all together. We have been smoke free for 3 1/2 years. Vape and live well!
Congratulations on your success!! Back in the "early days" (no, not the EARLY early HARD days....just 5 years ago!) there were lots of bumps in the road....vendors taking orders and not delivering products, scams of all sorts and types...it was kinda crazy...gone is "SafeCig" and "Ms Ts Bakery" (gee, I sure miss the Bananas Foster Coffee with Cream!!!) BUT...kinda like all the progress Ghengis Khan brought to humanity, the E-Cig (or "Vaping Alternative" has brought forth the best of American Pride and Progress...I "could" rant for hours on the reason tobacco was an essential part of the American economy in colonial times...or the greed of Big Tobacco...
But one thing is certain...the vaping community is such a great group of people...they help one another, give guidance, advice and need one another...I would say less than 10% of the folks here have actually MET in "real life"...yet...we CARE...truly....it doesn't matter what race, religion, sex or persuasion you are...we are all Americans trying our best to live long, healthy lives....(yea, sure, there are a few "Pistols" out there, needing attention or causing strife...but, most of them have gotten bored and gone back to whatever rock they crawled out from under....
I love that we support our own....that excellent AMERICAN products are offered at reasonable prices...that AMERICAN work and ingenuity are rewarded...there is a place for imported goods, I'm not saying they are "bad"....but with my lung condition, I would just rather pay a few extra dollars to insure that my juices are made in a sanitary facility that doesn't fill half the year manufacturing knock-off perfumes...lord knows some of those bottles I received that came from "China" tasted pretty "Wind-Song-y"....it's amazing that any of us have gotten this far...
A few other updates...my doctor said that my pneumonia was better...but I still gave a high white count, so I'm fighting infection...I'm to continue the medications, another round of anti-biotics and return in 4 weeks.....
On a much sadder note...my much anticipated grandson never made it into my life...except as an angel....his mother, a diabetic, had (unbeknownst to any of us) been a chronic prescription drug abuser....6 months after my son's announcement that he was going to be a Daddy, he returned home from work to find his SO unresponsive on the floor. She had been told (we discovered after the fact) by SEVERAL doctors to NOT dissolve narcotic tablets and then try to inject them into her veins and/or pic lines. (It is like putting CONCRETE into your veins!). A tablet contains MORE than just the "active ingredient"...there are buffers and molecules, etc...which make their way to your vital organs...VITAL Being an important word here)...those molecules settle into lungs, kidney, liver, brain...and much like a splinter, cause a small encapsulated spot....(more or less the same as inhaling coal dust, cigarette smoke, etc)...and there comes a point when your lungs can't absorb oxygen, your brain to get oxygen or blood...and then...edema sets in...and you die...but that isn't the worst...the worst was the cause of death of my beloved not-yet born grandson...coldly stated by the Coroner on his autopsy:
"Premature fetal demise associated with maternal chronic drug abuse."
My son and I buried my grandson four years ago yesterday....
My grandson's gift to me was something he never had a chance to have....years of life....it was the promise that I would never smoke again....just so I could hold him ....I'm tobacco free each day as a promise to him...I MUST live...to make his death valuable....
Live well, love deeply and never give up....
