vaping around people with copd or do you have copd?

my mom has copd (former smoker quit cold turkey a few yrs back). i stopped smoking around her of course but i just wondered how the vapor effects people with copd. not that i am going to be sitting and blowing it in her face but i was hoping to hear of first hand experiences. also because my stepdad still smokes and i was hoping i could get him to switch to ecigs by saying he could vape inside instead of having to go to the garage or porch everytime.

im wondering too if anyone here has copd and vapes?

My wife started having a problem in December and we both quit smoking and started vaping again. Doctor gave her breathing treatments for COPD (catch all for chronic pulmonary diseases these days). Can't say she is doing better but is not any worse.

I recently delivered home oxygen to a patient (that's part of what I do) and saw a pile of cig a likes. I was tempted to bring it up but didn't. Sometimes people ask me if it is safe around oxygen. I tell them that I can't say yes. I also can't advise if it is ok for them to vape, but to check with their doctor.
