First, I apologize in advance for this statement I have to make: Really? Another thread on this topic?

Now that I've got that out of my system, I'll express my thoughts on the subject. Every popular device has a fan base, some of which are helpful and well meaning people, and some who are just fan boys/girls. For example, iPhone vs. Android; PC vs. Mac; muscle cars vs. hybrids; and the list goes on. If you don't need the particular features and quality that the Provari offers, then don't buy one. If, on the other hand, you simply won't even consider it because of the zealous nature of some if the fans, then I believe you're limiting your field of possibilities for the wrong reasons.

Do the research, figure out what you want, and then be happy with your purchase. Simple as that.

Don't have much of a dog in this discussion, really. I have absolutely nothing against the ProVari. In fact, I have quite a bit of respect for it's reputation for being durable and reliable. What's not to respect? Many people LOVE the ProVari, and I think that's just fine! What I don't appreciate are people who take the attitude that the ProVari is the ONLY "worthy" APV there is, and if a person chooses something else they are stupid, cheap, short-sighted...or worse. I also bristle at comments like the one Ocelot quoted from the REO thread. No..I don't have a REO, but that sort of thing does NOTHING to advance the cause of the ProVari. Quite the opposite, really.

I do know that for me...at this time...the ProVari is not a good fit. For one thing, I have moved away from tube style APVs and prefer the box or rectangular form factor. It's just a personal thing...nothing more. I also have recently been converted to bottom feeders. For ME the Vmod works and works well. For ME it's something I wish I'd bought long ago, instead a pile of other things. BUT can I really say that? Because I do like my "other things"...and I have a nice collection. I guess I have to look at it as part of my experience...my personal vaping journey. One step leads to the next and all that. In the course of the journey, one learns a lot. And that is good. No regrets.

Normally I steer away from threads fishing for "controversy" regarding the ProVari. Don't have any idea why I jumped in this one. Carry on.

Before the antiprovarian is revealed there will 1st come a great falling away from the faith. Deception will lead many astray, but you brothers and sisters, stand strong and believe for the provari will stand the test of time. Only those who do not fall away were ever truly believers to begin with.

Has the provari touched and changed your life? Testify!

I thought it was "ohm money provari ohm". 8-o :D

As strange as it might seem with the Provari purchase my weekly spending went down rather than up and even though I got a second one my spending still dropped.

When I bought the Provari I was having a hard time trying to decide between the Silver Bullet with Kick and the Provari. I might have been just as happy with the Silver Bullet with Kick but I don't know. The Provari is meeting all of my expectations for it. I would never go and kick sand in the face of the Silver Bullet owners or any other quality gear. Others mileage might vary but I have noticed in almost all quests getting quality can be cheaper in the long run.

I am not afraid of sharing my feelings about quality no matter what the product is but I will defend the Provari when I feel it is being unfairly slighted.

You're not supposed to vape the Noalox JJOOHHNN...

I vaped a anti oxidant cleaning solution? I thought it was a strange new flavor. It wasn't that good.

The HHV Georgia Peach going though an Ikenvape carto in a pyrex tank driven by a provari that I am vaping now is much better. :)

I'm not an anti-Provarian but I do think the price is too high. I know I know pay for quality once and save in the long run but sheesh, these things are so expensive. I have a VAMO 2 and love it, it stays in 18350 mode most of the time. I've been on a search for a nice mod for my gf who has about 9 various eGo's, had to have one for every tank.

So I went to the local meet today and met some great fellow vapers and got a chance to hold a couple provaris. A standard and a mini with and without the extension.

I ordered one for her tonight ;D

I know a couple people who are going to get lucky in few days. :D;) Great choice, she's going to love the Mini, and love you even more for buying her one. My guess is you'll have your own Provari before the year is out. Until you've owned and used one for a length of time, its hard to explain to non-Provari owners just how nice a device they are.
