Altria Group Inc (NYSE:MO), British American Tobacco PLC (ADR) (NYSEMKT:BTI) News: WHO Potential Regulations On E-cigarettes
"The WHO’s regulation of e-cigarettes will be a serious threat to this growing industry. The WHO looks determined to regulate the industry: the overseer of the secretariat of the FCTC, Dr Haik Nikogosian, has said e-cig smoking “could result in a new wave of the tobacco epidemic.” He further added that he “felt more importance should be given to the threat posed by electronic cigarettes,” as per documents received by FT."
Don't forget to vote NO in the poll!

That's a stretch. While we finance most of them, there's never been a US chairman/director of WHO. As mentioned we (Bush) opted out of the FCTC and for good reason, imo. If we were the WHO, then it would have been our program, which it wasn't. We've also opted out of many other UN backed programs - Kyoto Protocol - never submitted to Senate by Clinton. We have only one vote in the Security Council of the UN and cannot 'override' any vetos by any other member, many decisions of which have not favored the US. We weren't part of the 'food for oil' program run from the general secretary chair. I could go on.....
